The point is if half of the world's Jews do not move to Israel then why do the other half have to live there, they don't, and so they can suggest a compromise where they divide the land with those who were there prior to the UN opening it for the Jews.
The fact that European Zionist Jews made a concerted effort to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine is sufficient. Of course the Israeli Jews encouraged all Jews to move to Israel, but the right of Zionist Israel to exist in Palestine was established in 1948.

"This right was acknowledged by the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917, and re-affirmed by the Mandate of the League of Nations, which gave explicit international recognition to the historic connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and their right to reconstitute their National Home."

Good to know. I have not looked into this lately, but that could reduce a lot of animosity. Of course for the Muslim Arabs Israel should not even exist. But strangely enough the Koran speaks about the children of Israel!

KORAN -- SURA 2: AL BAQARA (THE HEIFER) -- ALLAH ADDRESSING ISRAEL
40. O Children of Israel! Remember My blessings which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill your pledge to Me, and I will fulfill My pledge to you, and fear Me.
41. And believe in what I revealed, confirming what is with you; and do not be the first to deny it; and do not exchange My revelations for a small price; and be conscious of Me.
42. And do not mix truth with falsehood, and do not conceal the truth while you know.
43. And attend to your prayers, and practice regular charity, and kneel with those who kneel.
44. Do you command people to virtuous conduct, and forget yourselves, even though you read the Scripture? Do you not understand?
45. And seek help through patience and prayer. But it is difficult, except for the devout.
46. Those who know that they will meet their Lord, and that to Him they will return.
47. O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I favored you over all nations.

"And believe in what I revealed" (v 41) is a direct reference to the Koran. In other words Jews should convert to Islam. Mohammad was very familiar with the Old Testament, but twisted it to fit the religion of Islam. so the Koran speaks of Abraham and Ishmael building the Ka'aba in Mecca! (and many other fantasies)
For sure. Not just Jews, but every non-Muslim must convert according to the Qur'an.

Can't you just explain to them that you worship the Lord of Lords and king of kings?

I think it is strange that no one blames the Jews for this two state solution. If the Jews were to say that they are descendants of Abraham, their inheritance is in Israel, and they would all leave the rest of the world then Israel would have a much stronger case in the UN. But instead, half of the Jews live in other countries and they say you don't have to live in Israel to be a Jew. Because of that, it seems reasonable to the UN to divide Israel between Palestinians and Jews.

It is a classic case of wanting your cake and eating it too. You can't have it both ways, either you can live anywhere you want in the world, it doesn't matter, or you have to live in Israel and cannot live anywhere else. Likewise, the argument that God gave them. the land in Israel and it is recorded in the Bible doesn't hold if you also say that "yes God gave us that land, but we can own land anywhere we want on the earth".
The problem is that the land has already been divided... several times, and the Palestinians weren't satisfied. Their history demonstrates that they will never be satisfied until Israel does not exist at all. When the region was first divided back in (or before) 1948, the Palestinians were given plenty of land, which is now called "Lebanon". Repeated attempts at peace-by-land-concession have been rebuffed by the Palestinians. One cannot rightly resolve this conflict without considering its history.

Americans live all over the world, owning property within many different countries. Do you propose one standard for Israel and a different standard for the citizens of every other nation?

You make it sound as if all Jews have twisted God's word. Jews are not a homogenous group except for ethnicity. There are comparatively few Jews in Europe and virtually none in the Middle East. America is one of the few countries that welcomed Jews. Israel is home to about half the world's Jews. Considering that Israel is under constant threat of annihilation by its Muslim neighbours, you can understand why some are reluctant to move there.

Every Jew has the automatic right to citizenship of Israel. Jews have their reasons for migrating or not. They are human like everyone else.
If you believe God has called the Jews back to Israel and has completed the covenant by giving them Israel, why disobey God? You make good secular points about building wealth in the US, it being too hostile in the surrounding areas of Israel, etc... but does that justify going against God calling the Jews back to Israel?

You are correct in that we all have free will, but you're justifying using free will to not be regathered to Israel as God has promised.

You do realize that Britain and France promised the Palestinians a Palestinian state in what we call modern day Israel, right? This was conditioned if they helped overthrow the Ottoman empire during WWI. The Palestinians agreed and spilled their blood only to realize they were conned when 30 years later, they are murdered, displaced, and forced to give over their homes so that Jews could make up the majority. They promised the Jews and the Palestinians the land but only honored their promise with the Jews.

You are correct there was an agreement in 1917... but leaving out the other side of the story.

No I get that, judgement is coming, God will not tolerate those that divide His land.

True. But then they made other agreements and that became a dead issue.

"Hussein-McMahon correspondence, series of letters exchanged in 1915–16, during World War I, between Hussein ibn Ali, emir of Mecca, and Sir Henry McMahon, the British high commissioner in Egypt. In general terms, the correspondence effectively traded British support of an independent Arab state for Arab assistance in opposing the Ottoman Empire. It was later contradicted by the incompatible terms of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, secretly concluded between Britain and France in May 1916, and Britain’s Balfour Declaration of 1917." Britannica.

The Zionist Movement excluded God, so the establishment of the state of Israel was not exactly the same as what is prophesied in Scripture. However, God allowed the Zionists to have their wish since it would mean that Jews were back in Palestine so that several prophecies could be fulfilled before the Second Coming of Christ. It is only after that that God will establish a redeemed and restored Israel.

Islam teaches that Israel prevents their false Messiah from appearing. Shia (Iran) believes the "Mahdi" is alive and waiting for the right time to appear. Sunni (Saudi Arabia and the majority of Muslim nations) says that he has yet to be born. Either way, Israel and the Jews must be destroyed in Islam's teachings. There are 7.6 million Jews in America, 3.4 million Muslims. The EU has about 750,000 Jews and 28 million Muslims. If I was a Jew, I would be getting well away from Europe.

Maybe not over there, but I would sure like to try it here in the USA.....

One State for the left wing liberals and one State for the Christian Conservatives.......

I'd be happy to help divide the Country up for it......... :)

Yep. Then you can do what Americans always do. Go to war. It's so much easier when it's with your neighbour.

Or...they could go on a chat show instead. Jerry Springer, but between nations. Judge Judy can preside.

I guess they can't just play football.

If Judge Judy were presiding, I suspect the whole thing would be tossed after the first three minutes of testimony. At least she seems to have her head screwed on straight.

If the US ceases to be a superpower, splitting instead into civil war, what would happen to Australia? New Zealand? Canada?

They would all become Communist, since so would the USA. But America would be China's Communist pet. People today are actually volunteering to be under tyrannical rule and control, unlike the Russians and Eastern Europeans, who were forced into slavery. Could anyone have imagined this scenario?

Australia will panic. No one knows where New Zealand is, so they are safe. Canada? They voted in Trudeau. That's punishment enough. With our present government, we will probably form an alliance with China and take over America while they are too busy fighting each other to care.

hmm I reckon it wont be called Israel or Palestine they will need to give it a new name

possibly New Zion or Beulahland

New Zealanders will be annoyed if its called New Zion they may get confused with the other nzers.

Beulahland has a nice ring to it though and the people could be called B keepers.
