Still interested in the lack of support and why more against him in this thread now? What enlightening info has come out?
Why don't you first go back to the election fraud of 2019 and how Mike Pence simply ignored it? Pence was the one man who could have HALTED EVERYTHING after the fraudulent election. Instead he chose the way of the coward and the traitor and opened the door to the destruction of America. So now he should simply slink away and not show his face in public.

Pence will never be the nominee.
Unless , that was the trade-off he made in betraying the country by not exercising his duty to stop the steal.

He let's Biden win. Then come next election he's on the Republican ticket as the Democrats Trojan Horse, aka RINO. Because they all know Biden won't be mentally fit to go another 4 years.

Democrats are going to vote in Republican primaries? Don't see that happening.

The 2020 selection told us an election doesn't put someone into office.
Why would we think the primaries are exempt from the same shenanigans.

I think cheating can occur. But I don't think Republicans will stand for it in the primaries. Too many states would reject the results. If Pence, for instance, won in South Carolina, we would know it was rigged and the vote would never be certified.

2008 , John McCain won the Republican primary after he played the role of yes-man for Bush 43 for 8 years.

McCain, who ran for the nomination against George W. Bush in 2000.

On the campaign trail he'd misspoken a detail about Iraq when questioned by a reporter.
A Democrat who accompanied him during the campaign leaned in and gave him the correct information.
McCain then corrected his error.

A second reporter asked the same question as his colleague had prior, only worded it slightly different.

McCain parroted verbatim the prior errant information.
He was today's Biden.

A number of the Republicans running against McCain for the nomination dropped out of the race before the primary elections.
Of those remaining all but one candidate,Mitt Romney, dropped out of the race during the primary election.

Leaving only Mitt and John for the decision.
That rarely happens. Back then it was a given a Mormon,Romney, would never win the primary.

However, if everybody dropped out of the race before or during the primary, leaving only McCain that would have been deeply suspect.

But put in a Mormon as an opponent and McCain was a shoein.

President of the United States of America. The most powerful person in the world.

Government doesn't permit us to keep all the money we earn for our labors.
Do we really think the powers that are behind the government would let us choose who sits in that office?

Politicians are corrupt. It takes money to run for any office. And those who pay that money want something in return.

They buy their way into office. After all that money that's invested do you really think we can decide the one that was paid the most doesn't get the office because we didn't vote them in?
Besides advertising, why does it take a lot of money to run for office?

That's history. This time it will be Trump or DeSantis. If it's not, something is off. I don't see things going off the rails.
Just my take but we'll see. If votes are manipulated, I just don't see it until the general.

If DeSantis gets on the ticket then for sure the primaries are as corrupt as the general.

When the general is corrupt the primaries must be too. Primaries come first.

I disagree about DeSantis but my point is that Republicans mostly lie, not cheat.

Besides Trump and Desantis, who else do you think would be In the race for president 2024?
That's probably it for the Republicans. It will be very interesting to see what Democrats challenge Biden in the primaries. Providing of course Biden actually announces that he is running. Still, I don't see him even finishing his first term.

They're all for sale.
Career members of Congress, who put the Con in Congress, are all without exception multi-millionaires.

How does that happen on a far less than $300,000. annual salary?
And, the rules say when a member doesn't show for rollcall they're not to get paid for that day.
That rule has never been enforced.

Eddie Murphy made a movie spoofing Congress. Sadly, though a comedy, his intention was to also expose what really goes on behind the scenes.

Ours is not a representative government. One might ask, was it ever?

Rich white land European land owners founded this country. And organized its governance.
