That sounds awesome. Maybe it's the Central VA man in me, but I stand by Blue Mountain. Their brewery in Afton faces them blue ridges.
Perfect place to go at sunset during the fall or spring. You can stand by one of their firepits and watch the mountains change colors with a quality brew in your hand.

Hahaha. That's a fine vacation. And there are a smattering of historical sites near or around the breweries.
The one I mentioned above is just a few minutes away from Monticello. Bust Head is near a bunch of Civil War battlefields and George Washington's old haunt. That Star Hill bar has to be close to the naval base. Lee and Stonewall are not buried too far from Devil's Backbone.

If I came up to Virginia, I might have to spend a lot of time there, checking out the local brews....
I think I have a couple weeks vacation... don't want to over-do it in any one "sitting".... that pesky old "sin" thing, ya know....

I heard a talk show host mention this slogan on the radio the other day and I couldn't believe that Virginia is still using it after 30+ years...
I never understood the reasoning behind it.. I've been to Virginia several times and it certainly wouldn't be my first choice for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway... or even my second choice or third ...or fourth!
Its a nice shirt though.
