Let it drop. All of you.
well let's see now. you had your say, and mr outraged had his and so now the rest of us should not be able to point out the fact that you are both wrong

I can see how that works

you can't start rumors and make hurtful and untrue statements and then tell others who object to 'stop it'

you go on about how important truth is, but you are an exception perhaps?

why does this feel like deja vu? I think I had this conversation with you about something else

you and ms.(formally known as mr) 'I am so shocked because I am so perfect and look at these lying women all Canadians should be sent to somewhere dark and damp', are both wrong.

I’m proud of my country. More than 70 million Americans have said “No!” to Trump. The electoral college will say no to Trump too.
I am wondering what will happen to QAnon... :D

Probably what happens to most conspiracy theories...live on in the conspiracy congregations.
Amazing that something like that can be given credence by the highest office in the land.

In essence it was a cult.

I don’t think Trump really believes in any of that stuff he’s advocating...but he’ll do whatever he can do for power.

Breaking news

Joe Biden is our new President (Elect).
No, not quite yet. First each state must certify the final results (after any court challenge issues are resolved) and submit the slate of electors to Congress. Next, the Electoral College slate of electors has to vote and the results submitted to Congress. On Jan 6 the results are read in a joint session of Congress, any challenges will be either sustained or overturned, and the final results announced. At that time, if Biden has at least 270 electoral votes (really, no problem there) then he will officially be the President-Elect and Harris the Vice-President Elect. The winner(s) of the election will be sworn in on Jan 20, 2021, 11:45 for the Vice President-Elect and the President-Elect @ precisely 12 noon.

115.000 or so yesterday.

out of 1.5 MILLION test results.

all the virus pushers leave that part out.

and, as far as northern italy , the population is very dense, and multiple generations of relatives live in the same home.

so, the kids went out, got the virus, and the older folks who lived in the same home got it , and very sadly, many died.

so, as horrible as that was, it is not a straight comparison to other palces.

( also, they have many chinese workers flying in, working for a few months, then flying back to china. that made matters much worse in italy.}
The reason for the high number of confirmed cases is due to increased testing. Most of those that test positive will probably not even be sick or sick enough to be hospitalized.

I am not American ..just an observer like the rest of the world.. we all are dismayed by the lack of civility all around.

Remember when politicians spoke with intelligence and sounded like the leaders they are supposed to be...

McCain was a humble man and very gracious in defeat. His was a shining example worth emulating. This is not how Trump rolls however and will subject the country to a protracted endless series of court challenges, which, if past history is any indication, will ultimately fail. I pray that he does the right and honorable thing and concede the election, state categorially that there will be no court challenges and ask us all to pray for the soon to be new president and the United States of America.

Usually I’m fed up with the party that’s been holding the White House for the last eight years, and then be voting for the other candidate. This time the entire “getting fed up” cycle only took four years.

Even though I voted for him and disappointed that he lost he was starting to wear on me too, especially his self-centeredness and arrogance.

While yes increased testing reveals more cases it is not the sole metric to be considered to understand how the virus is moving in a community.

In Canada, nationally, cases began to drop between June and July, even as testing continued to increase and became more accessible. Cases shot up again in mid-August, with some provinces, like B.C., seeing it sooner than others.

So one has to look at overall trends as well to get the full picture of whether the "real" numbers are increasing in a community.

I really don't think that the corona virus crisis is going to be resolved until an effective vaccine is available and many chose to take it.

It does seem that way for sure... evidence of mutation found in the mink population and animal to human transmission .. may mean a yearly vaccine required.

There will be no herd immunity either, if the virus does indeed mutate.

I can't see the rich cartels letting a Dem win, that would up their taxes. Trump's guys will pull it off, imo.

For me, the word "presidential" makes me think of "insincerity". We've hand nothing but example after example of presidents acting "presidential" when speaking to the American people, but their actions contradict what they say. I don't mean to defend Trump, but we all knew he wasn't presidential nor did he act like he was presidential. I think that is what charmed so many to vote for him in 2016.

When I think of politicians being "gracious", I'm only left with a small few candidates. Some of which, I disagree on fundamental issues with, but nevertheless, they are a gracious, honest, and genuine person ... it's their politics that I question, not their word. Two examples being Bernie Sanders and Mitt Romney. Both are highly unpopular by the right wing, but I have respect for their humility and integrity... something I wish American presidents all had in common. But I think that is EXACTLY why neither one of them will ever become president... you can't win being respectable and honest... Hopefully I don't sound too cynical.
