I think we all would defend those you mentioned, but there comes a time that we all have to pay for the poor decisions we make in our life.
The president system seems to encourage poor decisions by always blaming the system, or even the president for their
problems.
I will help any one who needs help because of circumstances beyond their control, but I will walk away from those who bring it upon themselves by refusing to change.
Most people's problems are self inflicted.
They will never change until they stop blaming others, accept responsibility, and make an effort.

Yes most problems are self inflicted by stubbornness, selfishness, self-centeredness, false pride, lust greed and sloth. Jesus didn't give up on them or me either. When I was in the position and ability to help them. I put my hands and feet to the task. Some repent but most don't. still;
