SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
An Upstate woman is accused of hitting her husband, upset with him because he not yet cooked dinner, according to a sheriff's office report.

Spartanburg County deputies said they were called to the newlywed couple's Boiling Springs home on Monday about the assault.

The man ran out to officers waving his arms at them saying he had been assaulted by his wife, 31-year-old April Cooper, according to deputies.

The report said Cooper was upset her husband had not cooked dinner, so he left to get groceries, but when he returned home, she was gone.

The man sat in the recliner and waited for her to return and when she did, she began yelling, hitting him in the head and chest, according to the report. Deputies said the man took his wife's phone and went outside to call 911, but Cooper threatened to damage her husband's property if he did not return the phone.

He gave it back but went to a neighbor's to call 911 while Cooper made threats to hurt herself, deputies said. When officers spoke to her, she told deputies her husband has been stressed out because of work, she never touched him, and they were happily married, only arguing occasionally. The report said the couple was married in January.

Deputies said her husband had scratches on his neck, chest and injuries on his face.

Cooper was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence.

LOL!! Nothing new and very common in male/female households. The problem is most men are reluctant to report DV while most women will. If men were to report DV on the same level as women, I am willing to bet we will see more women in jail than men. I truly do hope men will start reporting more DV to police. There was a CDC report that indicated 57% of DV were provoked by women.

The feminists know it and are banking on it to exhibit males as the "poster boy" for DV. We are our own "biggest enemy" when it comes to the equality issue in relationships.

Yep!! and men have no right to scream "bloody murder" when they get set up and taken to the cleaners in divorce court. Just too much pride at such a tremendous cost. And they are laughing all the way to the bank. Again!! they are banking on our male pride. Why not give them a "dose" of their own medicine. You should see the "shock" on their faces when they are cuffed and sent to jail. Priceless!!

IN UK we have a charity called the ManKind Initiative which provides help and support for male victims of domestic abuse and domestic violence. Index They produced this social experiement with couple of actors being secretly filmed in public. We first see a male being agressive and abusive to a woman, which quickly attracts people to step in and get involved, the opposite happens when the woman starts beating and abusing the man. Here is the video

***Video removed due to profanity/cursing. Intent of video is ok, just too much profanity.****

You may want to check through the ages and see how violent women were punished. They weren't allowed to play victim as they do today. Nevertheless, the courts are beginning to hold more & more women accountable for their aggression. Love women just hate the "evil."

So.. I think the real question here is what are these people married for in the first place? I mean, something so insignificant and unimportant was worth a domestic violence charge? So the guy hadn't cooked dinner yet...

Okay, so he had a busy day? It slipped his mind, or he was just preoccupied? These things happen. I don't see how it warrants a butt-kicking from his gung-ho wife..

But according to what the report says, there wasn't even an attempt to communicate this problem verbally between the two. This mans wife just takes the gloves off and starts swingin'!

Oh Lord, help us.

Seeing how the post says nothing about the political opinions of the people involved how do you figure they are democrats? Just more off-the-cuff democrat-hate for no reason?
