I think it was Magnolias. I could be wrong. I checked and there is no member named that.
Gardenias maybe?

*I'm working on a new panel... hence delayed responses :)

It is early stages yet so may change a lot from where it is now:

That's my eye ball LOL I need to find better lower lashes :giggle:

Nice! I put this verse to music some years ago. I recall times of His deep presence while we sang it!
It would be nice leading a congregation while singing this, with it up on a screen. Someone dancing...the River flowing! Sigh!

I was just on the phone for 2.5 hours with my bro in T.O. whose birthday it is today :)

That piece (^ I had to remove it due to media limits) initially reminds me of a band named Cano.
I once sat in a cloud on a mountaintop to hear them perform. There were many other bands there
that day, most of whom I cannot recall, but for one perhaps, if memory serves, who was Jerry Doucette.

And look at that glossy thumbnail!!! lol

Thinking of Cano often brings Red Octopus to mind, with Papa John Creach on electric violin. Sigh.

Back to fish... he was also a member of Hot Tuna :giggle:

And as everyone knows, You can Tune a piano but you can't Tuna fish

:)

Cano...nice, I've never heard of them. My old guitar playing/fishing buddy's birthday is today, though I haven't heard from him in 30 years. I hope he's still alive.

Me too! T' would be sad for him to have passed without your knowing

It would be my best friend from high school mum's birthday today, also. (She is deceased.)

I am still in touch with my bf from high school... and her older sister as well.

Even though I left ON almost 45 years ago. There's history there...

How about theses guys (and gal)?

This was a fave of mine way back when, then, too :)

Haven't heard this for a long time. I donated most of my LPs to charity.

The drum solo reminded me of In A Gadda Da Vida...

Recorded on May 27,1968. The title was supposed to be "In The Garden Of Eden."
The story goes that drummer Ron Bushy wrote it down as "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"
because he couldn't understand what vocalist Doug Ingle was singing. The guy at
the record store did not want to sell me this album; he thought I was too young LOL

I parted ways with my old friends a half-dozen years ago. They're not Christians. They're still into the old lifestyle. When one of them failed to pull me back into it, I was accused of pushing my religion on him and that was that.
I am my beloved's and He is mine!

Amen! My bf from hs is very religious and believes fervently. I say religious because she is way more pious than I am, not to denigrate her or her faith in any way. Her mom was a charismatic Christian and prayed for my salvation for over thirty years. I was raised in the RCC church and school system, so all that stuff her mom got into just slightly baffled me, and then some. She drove us for three hours one day after I had overdosed to take me to the hospital in our hometown, the whole time lovingly lecturing me and going on about how lost kids were (I was 20) and all that sort of thing. I couldn't argue with anything she said. Why would I? And she was distraught. I thought of her as my 2nd mum.

I didn't get an alert for this. I've noticed that I don't always get them. I lose track of people that way...I'm pretty absent-minded.
The eye looks nice!

Thank you... I don't know much about notifications beyond the regular ones. Are there different kinds? I see people mentioning not getting notifications, but I think they mean when they have subscribed to a thread or something? Not sure. Heh, I can get pretty absent minded too. I have been up since 7 this morning and am just making brunch now ... eight hours later

Lol! I should get an alert whenever someone posts on this thread since I started it. I used to be on another forum and they had the same problem. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. I'm having my Shabbat Special for supper...a T.V. dinner! Lol
