right and also states that Jesus was tempted as we are but OVERCAME so we know we can also overcome in Him

what if a person has a gluttony habit? or a gossip habit? or a criticizing habit? all sins but so many do not think thin they are as bad as sexual sin. ALL are harmful both to the individual and to the body of Christ in general

anyway, the spankings are not going to stop apparently so I would just move on if I were you and not try to justify yourself as the only way that will go over is if you state you are wrong and everyone else is right

God bless you
Thanks..I value your understanding here..God bless!👍👍👍😊😊

enc,
you are more than 'transparent' -
your agenda is the same -
may Yeshua have mercy upon us all...

Your OP poem was well articulated but I was wondering about the type of responses that you were expecting regarding the content of the poem? I will say though that usually in the Christian Poems & Poetry forum a poem will receive very few responses, if any. This poem may have set some sort of record for the number of replies.

There is absolutely a seductive influence of evil desires. As a result of sexual sin Solomon starting to adapt to the customs and saying of prayers to other gods. In the end he was alienated from God. Besides being the wisest guy that ever lived he was probably also the most foolish.

Yes most definatley..and evil desire can create inward pressures that one will daily struggle with.Poor Joseph was harassed every day my that man's wife as she sought to seduce him.
Amazing insight with Solomon was that knowing something is not the same as living by what you know and despite yet such wisdom he had he still held fast to foreign woman..🤷‍♀️👍

The lust of evil desire was his downfall. Joseph displayed more wisdom and fortitude than Solomon. Solomon knew what was right and what was wrong and made the choice to allow himself to be enticed by evil desire.

Yes definitely and Joseph has such a high honour for God as he said 'How could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God"..so it's all down to the heart as Solomon himself "guard your heart from out of it comes the issues of life"
Yet praise God thst such stories are in the bible for they show both the failures and success of His people..
