1. If you could have any career, what would it be?

Would love to be a music composer/arranger. I have "dabbled," making some compositions for college classes here and there, plus a couple of duets for two horns with piano accompaniment. I've also arranged hymns on occasion, updating them for praise band and adding additional instruments.

2. Favorite color?

Purples and blues.

3. Favorite season?

Late Autumn/Early Winter - it is a little chilly, but still fun to go outside and to stuff. If I lived in a different area, I'm sure my answers would change. When I was in the military, I liked the winters in North Carolina and the Spring in Texas.

4. Quality you admire in others?

I lost a friend to cancer a couple of days ago. I admired her spiritual tenacity where her physical disabilities would have made many give up on God, her non-judgmental nature, and the way she simplified people's drama and would guide the situation back to Christ.

5. What is something you wish you were better at?

Being organized.

1. If you could have any career, what would it be?
Easy: Working front cash at a store. You meet so many neat people there. It was my all-time most favorite job. If Taco Bell had been able to guarantee me 40 hours a week I might still be there, even at minimum wage.

2. Favorite color?
Yellow. Daffodils are so cheerful.

3. Favorite season?
Winter. Everything is resting, getting ready for a new season. It's easy to see the beauty in winter if you look at the possibilities instead of looking at everything as being dead. (And it's easier to stay warm by adding layers - in summer you can only go so far in reverse without being arrested.)

4. Quality you admire in others?
Willingness to do a job because it needs to be done. "That's not my job" always irritates me.

5. What is something you wish you were better at?
Being able to focus on the work I do instead of what everyone else is doing. When I'm busting my butt at work and others are standing around yakking I want to chew them out. I wish I could just do my job and ignore them.

Also I wish I were better at keyboard playing. But that takes practice, of which I have been sadly negligent.

Also I personally believe that a lot of hip replacements would not have been necessary if people could walk like God designed their feet/legs to walk. If you walk with the heel-first stride that modern shoes force on you then there is with every stride a shockwave going up through your leg and the impact terminates at the hip. This is true no matter how much cushioning your shoes try to provide. But if you walk with a barefoot ankle-heel spring the way you were designed to there is no shock.

Well... you did ask.
I don't know if I understand the difference between a heel-toe stride and an ankle-heel stride?

Heel-toe is exactly what it sounds like whereas what TinTin is calling ankle-heel is nothing what it sounds like. You will find in societies where shoes are not commonly worn that people are more prone to walk with the ball of their foot landing first instead of their heel, this allows the ankle/heel assembly to act as a spring/shock absorber assembly.

If you could have any career, what would it be?
I honestly don't know, and if I did, I'd pursue it. I have a few ideas, but none that are like "I MUST be that!" It kind of stinks, actually, because it makes me feel like I'll always just kind of be...wandering around in careers.

Favorite color?
Midnight blue

Favorite season?
Anything but summer. Maybe summer wouldn't be so bad if I didn't live in a part of the country that not only gets hot, but has very high humidity for most of the summer. I also apparently have a sign on my head that reads "Mosquitoes Welcome". And I'm very pale and sunburn easily, and I never wear shorts so it's always hot, so yeah. I don't like summer much. There are very few things I like about it. The other seasons have great things about them, and they each have their own smell that I love, but I think my favorite would be fall.

Quality you admire in others?
Wisdom

What is something you wish you were better at?
Being patient in traffic. Not even trying to be funny, I become a terrible person when I drive in traffic.

Answer 1: I didn't say ankle-heel stride...

Answer 2: What Oncefallen said.
