I had 8 cans left in the fridge. They're in a sack (Or should that be "bag"?) by the door. I'm planning on returning them next chance I get.

My compooter had an issue again with this CC side again....what is going on!!?? I just got back in...Its like satan is in the world system or something .....wait what?!! ... but really not funny.
I have been in the computer field, off and on, for over 35 years. (Anyone else remember the Apple II [with a whopping 48K of memory] or the CoCo?)

I have at times wondered if the manufacturers put in a piece of "satanic" code in the software or hardware which randomly selects an arbitrary time to go kurphlooie.

(Kurphlooie is a very technical term. If you don't believe me, just ask me.)

Far too many times in the middle of something important, the compfuzer just stopped working.

This happened far too often when I was using MS Windows. Every year I would have to reinstall the entire OS just to get Windows to work again properly.

(I currently use Ubuntu Linux and haven't had to reinstall the system for several years now.)

Regarding the 'satanic' code, I'm sure that they do. I have spent most of my working years in manufacturing and processing and there is a term called 'planned obsolescence'. The engineers that design the products would deny this but if nothing ever broke down there would eventually be no products to be made and therefore no opportunity for profit. Not to mention the loss of jobs. The goal is to make a quality product that meets the expectations of the customer that lasts for a duration that is commensurate with the price paid.
