Okay, that right there is your problem. You need an address that ENDS with the proper file extension, either .jpeg .jpg .png or .gif whereas what you are pasting into the image app is a web page address. On that page, along the right hand side of the image, is a list of links. The 2nd one in that list says, Copy Link. Click it. An app opens with a list of four links. The second one in that list is the gif link. Here is your gif

I can't even find anything along the right side... hold on. Lemme put the phone in colour and use chrome.

Oh youre trying to post from Giphy? In that case, you have to click on the right where it says "Copy Link", then copy the text in the "GIF Link" option (2nd one down)...

Then click on the reply-window here (to place a blinking text cursor) and choose the "Insert Image" button at the top of the reply-window. It looks like a square (between the globe and the film icons)....

In the pop-up window, choose "From URL", Then paste that text from GIF Link in the pop-up box that appears... Also, uncheck the box that says "Retrieve image..." otherwise it wont show if its too large a file....

Then press enter...

I do not know how phones work either. Gosh, you young 'uns make me feel like a dinosaur LOLOLOLOLOLOL okay I went to that page again and tried to open the image in a new tab as if I had no links on the right hand side, but it opened another web page, which is not useable as a proper url, so then I asked Cortana about that image and she opened this for me in a sidebar, which I clicked on to open, and I just copied the url

If anyone would like to pray for Shawn, she is having, or has had- heart surgery. Shawn is my daughter Maddy's mother.
Faithful Father, thank You for hearing our prayers. Thank You that Your Heart is towards us and Your plans are for our good, not to harm us. Bless Shawn's heart - touch and heal - release Your Word and Spirit. Peacefulness during all the chaos of doctors and hospitals and surgery. Calm to the storm. Strength to her body. Let every word spoken to her give life.

Cover Maddy and Didy with Your peace during all of this, too. Thank You, Father, in the Name of Jesus, amen.

Just so you know... Giphy won't allow you to simply right-click on the image and copy it.. Same goes with other gif hosting sites... But you can do it to most gifs or pics when you find them with google or bing..

It's hopeless... i think ima give up for real now.
If you can find some way to get just the file with the proper extension (.gif) it should be okay, otherwise you have been trying to post web pages as if they were an image, and that is never going to work :(

I tried to post a pic on here from my phone before and was able to after a long time of trying but it wasn't from Giphy. I remember I had trouble copying and pasting the image because its very tricky using a touch screen to copy and paste something.
