Well. This morning I woke up at four with an urge to pray and praise. Energized, I did some laundry and vacuumed. Then it was tempting to get back to sleep, so I did. More laundry and a failed attempt of making waffles I ended up with herring instead.

And this was as much nothing in particular I could possibly achieve this morning. And I have started to sneeze. Allergy or just a cold? I am not sure. It seems to cold to be allergy. Well below freezing here.
You are on God's "A" team toinena - And therefore you are on my "A" team! You have also become a friend, and I thank you for that. I pray your day and week go as planned. I mean, of course, may your day and week go as God plans for you as you make intentions for that to happen LOL.. His love will show you how much it is He wants you to receive the fullness of His face. And I delight in praying that for you my friend! Welcome to this microcosm family of God, otherwise known as the "...nothing in particular thread." Lol. But to be sure, there is one thing we are particularly fond of here : Praising God for our lives! Even yet despite our circumstances...

Good morning CC: I see slave, tourist and toinena hanging about this morn. Slave I too will pray for our leaders and our economy. I have long espoused prayer at the bottom can change things at the top.

Prov. 14:34:
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."

Prov. 11:11: "By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked."

Keep your chins up tourist and toinena, the battle belongs to the lord.

I guess I am officially one of the old folks here now. And I do appreciate the wisdom and love in this thread.

Jovan. You see. You are not the only in your twenties here in this thread. Blain is an outstanding fellow your age. He has loads of wisdom, and is highly respected here.

In the singles forum you can follow Joefizz, that has his own way of saying the most random things, Winerose has a very special place here, too.

Open your eyes and heart, and suddenly you find that you too have your special place here.

Thanks, though. And if I start feeling bad, I can go back to the self pity thread.

You experience the fulfillment of this desire each day my friend. I do too but there are times that this overwhelms me and this leads to periods of depression. This is one of those days as I feel that I am falling short in the tasks that I have been assigned to do from God. This is one of those days and I feel that my game is off and a step slow. I did take out the trash though, and fed the cats and put away the clean dishes out of the dishwasher. In a few minutes I am going to the store to pick up a few things that my wife has asked me to get.

I have found in my life that if God can trust you in the small, mundane menial tasks He will put His trust in you with much larger tasks as part of your overall assignment. My primary mission right now at this moment is to be a loving, supportive and faithful husband. It is a huge responsibility being married but I am fully committed to this and do so willingly with love in my heart. She is definitely worth the investment of my blood, sweat and tears and deserves the very best that God has to offer. I must play my part in this and will continue to soldier on fighting the good fight and keeping my eyes on the prize.

You can and will play your own part with what God wants and expects from you. I have confidence in you that you are up to the task.

Your day sounds a little like mine in doing a few menial chores to get your motor running and your head in the game. Well above freezing here in Florida. I made waffles once and they turned out OK but my specialty is French Toast. I did make pancakes the other day though and they turned out OK too. I put maple sappy on mine. Maybe I just have a sweet tooth and like the pure sugar taste of syrup. I will have to ponder this today.

I saw that you cheeky one hardiharhar and an extra hahahaha to you my most precious friend lol :D

HAHAHAHHAHAHAH you do make me laugh Tourist, you go ahead and ponder oh hahahaha! :D

Yes, the big picture - first "How many figures am I holding up?" and then, "Do we believe Jesus is all and in all?" Let the bump of a trunk be an experience Jesus is in, but let the Holy Spirit teach us things about our experiences that gives us inspired and enlightening revelations - right?!

I pray your husbandry will be served well by your first love being Christ Jesus! In this she is well served and loved indeed!
One should always allow the Holy Spirit that lives in our heart's to guide us in our everyday lives. I believe that you are holding up 2 fingers but my vision is still a little on the fuzzy side. You are right about the first love also in one's life. :)
