Alright, alright....

This thread as well as its counterpart are actually fairly difficult reads for me.

I do not believe in a Wife/Husband shaped hole. That is the kind of ludacris thinking that causes people to settle for the shiniest thing that crosses their path. Of course there are people who think they NEED a husband because they believe their purpose in life is to make babies. Which doesn't sound too silly until we think about the male equivalent. I need a wife because my purpose in life is to make babies.

We are complete in Jesus Christ, Someone else said it but I felt like it got ignored. (what does that mean?) We are striving to be the best Christians that we can be. That is our mission and our goal in life.

IF you at some time in your mission meet someone who steals your heart and captivates you, then you should marry them and spend the rest of your life with them. It is not that you should serve God in hopes that by doing so He will provide you with a partner.

God is not the host of lets make a deal.
Yeah but its all part of His plan. Some of us will be married and have children and thats part of our ministry I think thats part of the reason why some of us have such a strong desire for it. That will be a bog part of our service to the Kingdom. Raising up babes to be strong in Christ. I am not saying there isn't anything we can do until then, but if thats like one of the "big goals" there is nothing wrong with that.

Well for once I agree with you Liamson. I've never heard of it before and sounds like another cliche.

thanx for all the replies. i didn't think i'd get so many so quick! >_<

as for a "husband shaped hole" its just something i made up cause i felt like it clearly explained how i felt in the fewest words.

and as for it sounding ludicrous. well everyone craves SOMETHING. for some people they have an issue with drugs, or drinking, or maybe even video games and sometimes school. its what ever is getting in the way of your own personal walk with God. and for me its currently a husband shaped hole. ^_^
