Right ON tootles Amen, more n more I see guys all over who look like models, muscles, muscles, muscles, all tanned n showing off,or wearing shades to make them like more cool, its very distracting.even on tv shows, where is the modesty?like the beef lol, anyways I use to wear makeup(i never ever get a look from a guy)my husband always said he loved me without makeup,n I'd just laugh at him,but i am separated from my husband living with my non christian single sister, she likes to party lol but I don't go,but i have always felt naked without my makeup but its so nice not to have to wear it,i do wear lonnnnng skirts, the pic i have up isn't me anymore,i have short hair,no more short skirts,i'm working on the heel boots, just love to wear boot comfy instead of shoes.but my husband tells me I get to much attention when I wear them lol.but i stopped tanning also,so i'd say i am a changed person for Christ. That's the price u have to pay to stay true to urself,as a Christian, trust me I dressed to kill before,I loved all the attention, but Christ paid a much higher price,Didn't he?I have to tell u women, the reason i am separated,i wanted attention, mind u it was the wrong attention, but got on line, posted pics of me in a bikini top n mini skirt, and tanned,I couldn't believe all the responses I got,I was than in Heaven,it made my day,but u have to understand I've been married 28 yrs n 20 yrs was mental abuse about my appearance,so having 18-59 yrs old want to chat with me was awesome.but they were after one thing only S E X.after awhile I got depressed more day after day but learn my listen the hard way n i'm only on christian chat,n facebook because my whole family is on it.please learn from my mistake,I just pray the my husband will come to forgive me one day,he isn't a Christian. Please keep us in ur prayers God bless
Deb, I'm glad you saw the error of posting pics like that online. Unfortunately, younger girls (teens, even preteens) are seeing women do this and want to emulate them, so they do it themselves. I believe this is why so many young girls are getting kidnapped and molested nowadays, and why there are so many online predators.

If you think you can do it without stumbling, take a look at some of the social networking sites that you can browse. Notice the way the younger girls are posing and what they're wearing. Turn on MTV, look at the way they're dancing (those sweet 16 shows and all of that). Watch Miley Cyrus' performance on this year's Teen Choice Awards, where she dances like a stripper. It's horrifying, and people keep asking why it's happening and why it's so prevalent nowadays.

Immorality breeds tragedy. I'm glad you corrected it before you influenced anyone to do the same.

Luke 17:1 - Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. 2 It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin."

Have you seen what they wear to church??
Its like going to the mall

I would have to agree with you about this, Narn. I may be be getting old(er) but I do notice some of the women (younger especially--not trying to single them out but I have to state as fact, it's usually the teen girls) who come into church with very bare sundresses and tops cut down to the middle of the chest with nothing underneath. I don't mean this in judgment, but I do believe we have to be careful about our appearance and choices of attire.

Funny story--two years ago, I went to visit someone at a prison on Thanksgiving Day. I wore the outfit I'd worn to church that day--navy blue Dockers and a light blue scoop-neck top (I thought it was pretty modest--it came up to maybe an inch and a half below my neck, didn't show any cleavage at all, etc.)

The female guard took one look at me and said, "I can't let you in, your top is to low." I thought, who do I look like, Britney Spears? I'm not going to be climbing on any tables or swinging around anything! (And yes, I pray for Britney--I think she's a beautiful girl but obviously making some choices we wouldn't agree with as Christians.)

It was just so funny to me that apparently, my outfit was all right for church... but not prison!!! I pleaded with the guard because I'd driven an hour to get there... she suggested I go down the street and buy a t-shirt to wear underneath (and the shirt I had on already had 3/4 sleeves.)

Problem is, on Turkey Day, nothing was open... I wound up driving for what seemed like forever and finding a gas station that was actually open... then bought the only thing they had--a waffle weave, long-sleeved t... but in a size 3XL, because they didn't have anything smaller...

I went back to the prison, put that on under my regular shirt... and probably looked like a football player in all that bulky fabric, but at least they finally let me in. In fact, the guard told me, "Thank you for not yelling at us or cussing us out," and I told her, "Well, I do understand, you're trying to do your job, and I work with the public, too."

When I finally got to see the person I was visiting, I told him, "You have no idea what I had to go through to get into prison!"

HA. :)

just to put this out there, when we get to the judgment seat we will be responsible for our thoughts and actions we won't be able to put the blame on any1. no saying but Amy, Ashley, Amber wore their clothes to tight. This goes for the girls as well. The bible tells us that if we are to cause someone to stumble in their walk we will be held accountable. so both men and laddies share EQUAL parts in this subject...laddies have some respect for yourselves and guys control yourselves!!!! those names were random btw! no nasty letters pleaze!!!

Very cute n funny story Seoulsearch.Yes,I had to do the same thing to c my nephew in prison, but it was around 4th of July n I bought a red, white n blue T-shirt,felt so uncomfortable the whole time ,it was on sale $4.00 lol I didn't no u can't wear sleeveless shirts, now I do.
well i believe the movie stars n singer have alot of influence on the younger people 15-25 yrs of age. Both parents r working to have good things or some just to stay alive,so the young children r not being watched right. What boils my insides,is when I see a very young girl in very short short, daisy duke kind.they r not old enough to buy them,so someone adult wise had too right, wrong choice from the adult,n people wonder Y the younger children r being taking n found dead, think what would Jesus Do
WWJD
God bless U:)

i guess sometimes..man always look for pretty and sexy girl...and many of the gurls need to dress up and look hot....be sexy...to get man ...is so hard to find man that actually will go for a woman..inner beauty...no one guy seems to care about INNER beauty anymore

I agree with that. The average man sees 2 women one with long hair, big eyes, full lips, big breasts, tall thin legs, flat tummy, a woman that is yes beautiful, next to her is an average woman, average weight, maybe over weight, with short choppy hair throw some pimples on her face, hairy arms what many is society would call ugly, the man will want the beautiful woman.

Women are not stupid, but we are not temptress (ok, most arent). There are more women then men on this earth as we all know, so to get a man it takes a little more work for women. Honestly many guys dont care what is in the inside so women need to work a little harder on the outside.
