I've always thought that within five years older or younger was a good guideline - but what do I do if my secret CC crush is beyond that?

**le sigh **

j/k - it's not a crush........more like a warm fuzzy

*le sigh* indeed ;)

well, to validate your question nadia, the guys asking me out aren't my age either. the last guy who asked me out recently was 12 years younger than me (though i have no idea if he knew our age difference was that significant) and that's pretty much the usual. i don't even bat an eye at 10 years anymore.

i think part of it is a numbers game, and i think possibly a lot of guys that age are looking for someone younger than them (such as the guys who didn't have kids or want more, now looking for suitable babymommas).

though in reality, i have no idea, for sure. i find it a bit confounding.

on the other extreme, i really don't get asked out much by guys a lot older than me, though. the "older guys" i'm around are the sr. citizens in my church, and they're all too popular to be bothering with me. : )

Well, in this world today, it does not matter. Look, I had grey hair since 18 and the women when I was 18.. to say.. age 25, they thought I was too old! Cant help it with grey hair! Then when I was 20.. I was fixed on a blind date and my friend never told me her age.. because my friend did not want me to say no to a 35 years old. that is right, a 35!! And was already divorced with 3 or 4 kids and already tied up.. I wanted to have a family like I thought everyone else should have!! But then since that date.. I seem to be attracted by women 15 years older than I am ever since. One time when I was 35, a 64 years old woman was after me at the singles dance!! NOOOO!! I was screaming in my head there that night!

So, I have no choice.. I was feeling forced to marry an older woman which I did and did not want to.. who else wanted me at the time when I was 39 (met her at age 39)?!?

I wanted to marry a woman my age when I was 18 to say 40 but no.. either it was older, already tied up, divorced, with children.. not want be like a sucker. I was sucked by the women's views! Hated that.

Sure, you can see my anger, I still do.. but I am a nice guy and what the heck matter with them??

When I was 23, at church, women my age then told my own brother of 2 years younger that they thought I was my brother's father!! That was an insult by Christian women.

At my church where I was going for years, after I left that church (see last paragraph about my brother and the women), I tried to focus on my age and slight younger.. nope!!! The Deaf church has only a dozen Deaf people. look, only Deaf bachelors and old Deaf ladies were there!! I was like huh!? Then I tried the Hearing Church Singles Ministries.. no one was interested in me. Older ladies did!! More unsaved older women are more likely interested in me than Christian women. That is a fact. Why Christian women not interested in a man? That is a whole another subject.

Look, I have to resort to the Filippinas since I have better opportunity to find a wife who can marry me for who I am and love me for who I am AND be able to bear children. Now, another question to ask you, ladies, why are American Christian ladies not taught to accept the man's proposal for marriage as said in Prov. 18:22? If resist, you will never marry!! Never ever have children! This is perhaps why we have a huge problem in the US. Christian men I noticed could not get a wife who attend in same church or in same faith will more likely marry someone who is not a Christian. seen that happen often including myself. I understood why.. but that is for you to find out, period.
I have read, yet no confirmed, that Japanese men are seeking wives outside Japan (Korea, Vietnam and around) to avoid those "local" problems you´ve mentioned.

I do know many Asian girls felt offended when North American men have thought "they´re are always seeking to get a visa or their green card" and, the facts, as I did my own search, many Asian girls/women like to stay close to their family bonds (mainly in Phlipines and around).

I don´t know if feminism has to do with those "social" tendencies, but I´m sure both, men and women, seek what each needs (that´s human and quite normal) the issue would be is some one is lying, using, abusing or just flirting, playing their games (no matter their religion, the things still the same).

I´m happy to learn from others.

Thanks!

Who knows it?

Some people need a painter who draws a rainbow with his colors, each day. :)

Did you actually make that? D: Cause I might have to steal it!

As as for revealing my age... I've been trying to figure out how to do that but haven't found an answer. Do I have to reveal my bday to reveal my age? Because if that's the case then I'd rather not. But I don't mind sharing that I am 25 years old. Whala! :)

I try to stay somewhat around my age range, but who's to say that I might meet someone out of it, I leave that up to God.

[h=3]Tobias's Prayer[/h]
And Tobias said: Lord God of our father, may the heavens and the earth, and the sea, and the fountains, and the rivers, and all thy creatures that are in them, bless thee. 8 Thou madest Adam of the slime of the earth, and gavest him Eve for a helper. 9 And now, Lord, thou knowest, that not for fleshly lust do I take my sister to wife, but only for the love of posterity, in which thy name may be blessed for ever and ever. 10 Sara also said: Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, and let us grow old both together in health.

There´s not need to steal something I made for you, with a program (I´m not that painter! Ja! Ja!)

Another thing: I don´t like that age for me... I decided to stay as I am. :P

Re-reading it:

a) I wondered how many might have read "prosperity" instead of "posterity" and

b) I´m sure that there are dozen of Saras in the world: "...and let us grow old both together in health."

I owe my friend one! :)

There is no lust in there, no egotism, but Christcenterness.

I am always more comfortable with people older than me, so marrying a woman seven years older than me didn't seem odd. Her co-workers joke around with her when they find out how much younger her husband is.

The first rule of any relationship is love and everything else queue right behind it. It is the pillar upon which everything in that relationship is built, age difference inclusive. However, the leading of the Spirit is key, He'll always order our steps in the right direction. We just need to learn to listen. Most importantly we must never get to the point of anxiety and desperation, it would becloud our judgment.
