I'd like to meet some mature Christian singles, both men and women in the San Francisco Bay Area--I am divorced and most of my friends have moved away--the 4 closest are still married with married children. I'm finding it a challenge to make new friends over 50. I'd like to do activities like pickle ball and walks, coffee or lunch and talk about our faith.

Probably a lot of Christian singles in the entire state of California that are age-appropriate for forming meaningful friendship. There are a lot of divorced members here or those that have experienced divorce including myself. Even though I am married I hang out a lot in the Singles forums. Peep are laid-back and friendly and a few can relate to what you have to share. Another excellent thread is in the Bible Discussion Forum and is called Speak Your Mind (SYM). I highly recommend it. The sharing of coffee is big there. Donuts too.

Hi Tourist, you were the only response--and married not single. of course there Christian singles throughout California, but it doesn't help much unless you are actually able to meet them. ): I'm discovering so many on this chat don't seem to know the bible well-and I find it extraordinarily odd that even in the bible forums, the discussions are often rambling and disjointed. I was really hoping to find faithful believers on this site that know scripture and can back up what they say with scripture.

Yea this may not be the site for you. I don't think people on here really have intentions of meeting. Again some do but it seem like the majority don't. I could be wrong. I haven't been on that long. But there are some that do know the Bible. Gotta do a little digging.
