Sounds like the op cant take the heat. Plus he is not online so he wont be reading the latest replies. Also sounds like he has attempted to put the spanner in the works, saddly it backfired on him.

When you begin a thread with an intrinsically antagonistic title, regardless of the subject matter at hand, and then you begin your opening post antagonistically, it is simply logical to assume that the responses to the thread will not be met with total agreement. Not because you are necessarily wrong but because of the way you are saying it. That is the issue here. You are, of course. welcome to like whatever music you want and we I am sure no one here will force you to listen to music that you feel uncomfortable with. If you want to discuss this then discuss it in a way that is open and honest and stop hiding behind "I've been over this so many times" as if this makes what you say perfectly reasonable. Also, people who ignore something successfully don't respond at all. When you by implication attempt to disqualify millions of people from Christianity because of the style of music they listen to you are not acting in love. You dont want an argument but you used words that are bound to start one

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

I am relatively new here and I sincerely hope that this is not how it always is

I wont be reading antagonistic or complaining posts, just looking for christians to talk to who believe in holiness in their music always if they listen to or sing or play music
Is it Christian to play instrumental music in church?

We are up because we were told that there will be an invasion. Didn't you see the tin-foil patrol on your way in?

Well yeah, I saw, but I thought maybe all that tin foil was for BBQ preparation. Boy, was I disappointed.

It was a rhetorical question.
I thought your post was more of an opinion or statement than a question, but yes, I caught that you were being rhetorical. As I was I. I couldn't resist a good-natured dig in return :)

Peace.

No, I think I might have lied about my statement being rhetorical. Sorry I will put a note on it.

Since he acts like a punk, wears pants that fall to his knees and show his underwear, has no talent and cannot sing, yes it is..lol.. He's NOT a role model for kids, except maybe to show them how to get inside a jail cell.. :/
:/

This thread is a great window on how rational christians are when they all can see the same logical fallacy.
Since you mentioned this comment in a recent post........had to go back and read it.

Trying to decide between it being an "incitful" or "insightful" post...........
