What does the world need now?
While the teddy bear answer would be "love" the real answer is a global economic reset to erase national debts and stimulate the economies around the world.....

I was hoping you'd say... world peace...
Ah Miss Abby you must not know me well enough to know I'm never PC :p We can all like the 1970s Coke commercial hold hands and sing "let's love each other" but world peace will never happen until Jesus comes back....

But one can alleviate hardships around the world with a little extra in the pocket undoubtedly there will always be evil greedy people who will try to steal from others via war or manipulation but the overall world woudl be better if we were out of this economic rut especially the last 8 years due to crazy bankers.....

Anyway this is ZT's thread so can't wait to hear what he says lol.....

I don't want to disagree with you, but the world experienced a strong economic boom in the years before the crash of 2008 and people were very materialistic. They were buying houses, cars and taking out loans that they couldn't afford. Everyone had to have a new car, a big screen TV and was looking to move into a bigger home because the banks were giving out loans like candy. Some didn't even require proof of employment. A lot of people were "happy" but their happiness was based on all these material things that they couldn't really afford...

Then the fed started raising interest rates like crazy with the reasoning that they were trying to stop rising inflation and all those folks with adjustable mortgages couldn't afford their rising payments anymore and the collapse happened..

I'm just saying that I think the world needs love more than money...

True, but that is more on the person taking out money for outrageous stuff they can't afford....it's a lack of responsibility and also social engineering by the banks at the time saying to take out loans like candy b/c the government deregulated the banks....it's the govt and banks fault for creating this artificial crisis......due to deregulation of banks which caused the 2008 collapse....

I am not downing the response of "love" is what is needed in the world...but let's all be real here...nobody defines what this love is.....is it paying your neighbor's mortgage? Is it feeding the homeless? Is it taking a bullet for a guilty death row inmate sentenced to the firing squad? Is it love between two people of the same sex?....see what I mean...these cliche words are thrown out by society without any real definition.....they just sound good initially but when the nitty gritty gets ironed out nobody is going to go for it....I mean lets take the death row inmate example.....99% of the people in the world would never take a bullet/get killed in place of a guilty inmate....(I know people will say Jesus would but let's keep Jesus out of this for now to illustrate a point).....

Words without definition/changing meanings are the new way of being politically correct and of warping societies views......

Another example is the global warming thing...people are conditioned now to want smaller fuel efficient cars to save money and "save the planet" but the ironic thing is the politicians and lobbyists who make these laws ride in 1st class airlines guzzling tons of fuel, drive maybachs/mercedes limos with horrible fuel efficiency, some have their own 747/private jet.....see how there are no clear definitions/lines of applying to everyone about this global warming stuff? Only for you the small people.....while they live like Kings/Queens.....

I feel like I'm preaching lol so I will stop but only Jesus will solve the planet's issues by wiping it away and making a redeemed/better Earth.....all this cry's for love aren't going to fix it, especially when that "love" is defined/undefined in so many different/alternate ways/viewpoints.....it just won't work....humans have their set ways/definitions always....not everyone will go along to get along....

You never answered my questions, so here they are again.
Questions? Oooooh!

Who did put the bop in the bop sha-bop sha-bop?

Was dead reckoning ever alive?

Did Adam and Eve have belly buttons?

How do you tell if bagpipes are in tune?

What's the french word for bouquet?

And one more question...

Wait for it....

Something we have all wondered from time to time...

A good recipe for meat marinade????
Some kind of oil (not too strongly flavoured)
Soy sauce
Pepper
Herbs (whatever you like)
Finely chopped garlic
Finely chopped chili
Mustard

If you are frying the meat, wipe off the marinade, as it will burn.
If you are making a sauce, add it to it rather than throwing it away (just make sure you boil it after adding in case there is something in the meat that needs killing :p )

I don't know the answers and they are mostly ridiculous questions. I believe you're just trying to pull my chain (get on my nerves). If ytou don't have any sincere questions to ask, then save yourself the time and don't bother asking.
