I've never fully understood that whole thing. Seems like a lot of kerfluffle and money spent on nonsense.

What did you have to drink today?

Water :) that's the only drink I drink everyday besides coffee in the morning :)

Are you still going to take care of your parents who didn't take care of you? (If you will choose yes please explain...if you will choose no...please explain why not ? Thanks )

Thank you for telling me about St. Lucia.

I would probably miss really hot baths. Our hot water gets super hot and water is cheap. I have heard the plumbing in other countries is not that good.

What is the best thing about Norway?
The best thing about Norway is also the worst thing. The welfare state. It gives security for me as a disabled, but the rigid system makes it little flexible and the individual gets somehow lost in it. And of course some people exploit the benefits, and strong groups get more out of it than weaker. I could write an essay about this, but I spare you the time and effort.

My father is dead, but my mother is still alive. I take care of her, but I can only care for her emotional needs, as I am disabled myself. I could have asked her to live here, but she prefers her flat. When the time comes, she will get help in the home, and then later going to a nursing home. Welfare state takes care of that. But I will, despite of a troublesome childhood, be there and help her get the help she will need.

Would you rather be taken care of by relatives or by neutral professionals when you get old?

My family :) nothing can compare with family's care. We Filipinos value the elderly so much and it is in our culture to take care of our parents/elderly family members during time of illness and when they can't care for themselves anymore.

Here is my question :)

Last night I was alone with my dogs eating nothing, because I ate a big lunch. I had fun, though, in my own bizarre kind of way.

Do you keep the traditions for the holidays from your parents or do you ignore them and create new ones?

To me, the best thing about any nation or country is the People, and specially those who fear GOD.

Who is the most Important Person in your Life?
The HOLY SPIRIT is the most important Person in my Life.

I have learned that I can't feel sad about being away from my family any more. After 4 years I have got to start making my own happiness here, with my husband. So I am getting back into the holiday spirit, which I've mostly not wanted anything to do with for the last 4 years and I'm sending out cards and putting up a tree to try and brighten my life.

What is your favorite flavor of tea?

That is awesome, Alayna!!! :D

(I don't drink tea so I'll pass the question to the next user...)

I am a purist. So I prefer non-blended teas like darjeeling and assam.

Do you, outside church and work, socialize with people in organized activities? (like sports, music, politics, crafts...)

Yes, I'm in a tennis league.

If you could create a new national holiday, what would it be? Such as, national nap day, ride a bike day, kick back day, and etc.

Teddy. Mom knitted him for me when I was 1 year old. Over the years he got real raggedy and torn, so I buried him with Tequila last year when I had her put to sleep. :)

Shoes. At least, if shoes count as clothing. I hate shoes.

What was your first stuffed animals' name as a child?
