my father used to say : "boy, learn how to cook. no woman on this planet will be able to blackmail you, ever."

what advice of your parents did you dismiss as nonsense until it came true ?

My favourite fast food? OK, this is a deeply personal question, but I trust you. I know I should be saying that I prefer grazing on freshly mowed grass and nibbling on birch bark, no dressing of course, but that is not true. In Canada we have a restaurant called Wendy's and they have a homestyle chicken sandwich. You can have it with fries, salad or a baked potato. Today my son stopped at Wendy's and brought me home this sandwich and a plain baked potato. Now I will not say it has cured my two week illness, but I will say I am on the road to recovery. Coincidence? You decide for yourself. :D (For those not used to my humour, I credit God with every good thing including healing, laughter, and how good that potato was when I added a little butter. )

Question: Right now there are cafes that have baby bunnies and others with kittens or puppies, that you can visit with while you have your snacks. If you could create your dream cafe/park of this type, what baby animals would you choose (size of cafe or animals in not limited, nor are finances).

I've seen lobster tanks in restaurants, does that count? Oh, but you are not supposed to eat your pets, are you? Do not those baby animals raise health issues?

I hear you. For some, it may be the chance to have contact when they live alone and are in places where they can't have pets. For some of the cafes, the animals are for adoption and this is a novel way to get people to bond with an available animal and hopefully offer them a home. In my question I make it a fantasy idea. It does not need to be possible in reality. I love baby sloths and so I'd have a sloth cafe pretending that there are no issues with health or finances etc. It was just a question for fun and imagination. :)

Have you ever brought food for a homeless person instead of giving him/her money?

I had half a chicken burger when this homeless guy walked past my friend and I so I gave it to him. He took it but asked for money as well.

Why is it that many people are changing the picture on their avatar all of a sudden? It gets ohhhhhh so confusing. Having said that, I think it may be time to change mine

Yes, I have. When they had it to lend, which was seldom. Hahaha...

On a similar note: Has the HS prompted you to tell someone borrowing from you, just to consider it a gift?

I can't remember when I didn't...especially if I know that they can't afford to pay me back 😅

Do you put back your shopping cart to the store? And Does it bother you when people don't put their shopping cart back to the store?

That depends on the person leaving the cart. If they are old and feeble, no. I usually grab a cart in the parking lot going in. Especially if someone has just emptied one. The only thing that should bother us is, if they leave their carts blocking parking spaces. That is just inconsiderate.

What do you think about the quarter return areas to encourage shopping cart returns?

if it works I am for it cos we dont have any system where I live and trolleys (you call them carts) end up in the creek.

Theres also microchips you can put on them with a brake lock so if you get past a certain point they lock. With coins people have to have coins on them so I dont know if it actually works.

ok my question is, why are some people so worried about what other people think of them? I cant MAKE people like me if they dont they dont so...? I cant really do anything about what they think as I am not them. They have a mind of their own and so do I!

Are you worried about what other people think of you? Are you afraid of being judged for being single?

We can't control what others think about us, but our attitudes and actions can effect a better outcome. As Christians, we should be careful we don't give them cause to judge us badly. If we are ill spoken of for our belief only, then we were warn that would happen and consider it a blessing.

Matt. 5:10 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Question: When was the last time you felt the HS speaking through you? :)
