First, I must address this. My dear friend, I once explained that since SHIELD is a Whedon show, it starts off slow, not poorly. He's the king of back story... well, the Heir Apparent. Stan Lee is the King. Anyway, Whedon makes sure that things are properly woven together before he truly starts telling a story. If I was still pagan, I would worship in his general direction.

1) Mixed race/mutt = not entirely sure. A bit of everywhere!
2) English (I failed college Spanish miserably)
3) Not entirely sure. Maybe renaissance man/jack of all trades.
