Introvert alert :D. I need to be by MYSELF when I have a bad day. Usually, going someplace where I can't even hear people and praying will do it, and I don't even have to be gone long. Maybe just ten or fifteen minutes. If I am in a place where I can hear people or (heaven forbid!) they can even walk in on me, it takes rather longer to recharge.

If I can't get away, classical music will do it.

Legend of Dragoon? I remember that game. Drove me nuts trying to get the timing right on some of those attacks.

And it tripped me out when I found out how old Rose really was.

I tend to be pretty introverted too, so I understand what you mean. Sometimes, I just need to chill out by myself! :)

Watch funny muppet show songs on youtube,or relaxing songs on there too, such as songs by john Denver and paul williams that are calming, and,I never harmed an onion or the cat came back both by Rolph, just to cheer me up!
If all else fails watch teen titans the original show,or if upset take anger on warriors and creatures on fighting games like warriors orochi, samurai warriors, final fantasy, legend of dragoon,or calm down by playing animal crossing,or watch a movie like country bears to fall asleep to.
I love the Muppets! :) I just watched the Mahna Mahna song - totally made me smile!

Someone say legend of dragoon!?
I still have the game and it still drives me crazy I am still trying to get all the stardust in the game to fight the final side boss, and yeah it's creepy either way you look at it with rose, she is old in the game and an enemy in a sense, pretty crazy game,I never get tired of the intro tune and song either, sometimes I don't play the game and just put in disc 1 to listen to that awesome intro!

And for the stardust, have you tried gamefaqs? They have guides on everything.

I know about where and hows,my problem has been that every time now that I've gotten to disc 3 I couldn't go further because the game would mess up because it would read disc 4 but it would mess up in battle, now I have a different set of the discs,so maybe this time,I'll get all the stardust, though recently been playings Neopets the darkest faerie, was going to have my kids cousins play it but for a kid game it's rather creepy and scary(creatures jump out at you,it's dark sometimes, and the creatures chase you relentlessly!)

Ahhh a gamer that actually knows some decent games. A rarity among Christians I find. However I agree about trying to take out loneliness, depression, ect on a videogame.

I have actually been fighting depression and the loneliness that causes it for years. Honestly some days are better than others, but I do experience days that no matter what I try it doesn't lift the depression any. Other days I listen to various songs from across the board, but one of my favorites is "Dare" by Stan Bush.

I read it as "Best Cures for Bad Boys..." and thought the op was a gal who's struggling to stay away from bad boys...

Yep and that isn't even half of what I've played over the years, though I prefer strategy I like some of the more casual and funny games like super mario 64 and mario sunshine too, kirby air rides, sonic riders both the first game and Zero gravity,Tony hawk games, spyro games,Wii sports, and then every once in a while I find a game that is and tough that somehow I like for instance the game I have that spins my brain,Final fantasy Chrono Chross that game has so many twists and turns, endings, characters, and pathways that I barely play it because I get dizzy just thinking on which paths to take and don't advance fast because of that, already defeated the game once but still have yet to get all the characters, still I like it because it drives me nuts, the intro is cool, and the story lines are very well thought out though the graphics could've been better, kind of ironic because compared to chrono trigger on ps1 chrono trigger actually is more interactive looking in some ways.

Chrono Trigger pwns Chrono Cross in so many ways. Chrono Cross tries to be bigger, better and more complex but all it does is become cartoony, convoluted and a mess.

exactly it looks more polygonish too instead of more real looking granted it has more options of attack but it looks crummy, even wildarms 1 looks somewhat better in graphics and it is polygon focused!

You do realize we are discussing video games almost two decades old as though they were new things, right?

Check the obituaries and if your not listed, its not such a bad day after-all. Bad days are necessary, we can't appreciate the good ones without a negative comparison. If you have your health, shelter, and a good meal, everything else in life is frosting on the cake.

That's too funny! :) I have just been going through some bad days and as I was going through some of my "cures" I started wondering about what others do. Thankfully no "bad boy" issues here. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles, Jonathan1977; I will keep you in my prayers. I turn to music a lot too - for whatever emotions I'm experiencing. Thanks for sharing "Dare" by Stan Bush. I love 80's music, so it totally made me smile. :)

Hmm... bad days. I occasionally have a bad day, usually when somebody at work has been more cantankerous than usual and tried to interfere with my job.

What I do to get over my bad mood is, I go to a christian chatroom and wait for a troll. Trolls can be a lot of fun if you know how to use them right. I like to tie a troll up so tight in logic knots that he can't even remember what his initial troll question was. Then I start questioning what kind of life the troll has if the best thing he can think of for amusement is to go to a christian chatroom and try to troll them.

It's... probably not the most christian thing to do with a bad day, I admit. But it gets rid of trolls and I feel better.
Your fascination with trolls... Are you sure you are not of Norwegian descendant? Espen Askeladd could be your great, great, great grandfather. (then you are also of royal blood, since he always got to marry the princess)
