Simple, As everyone knows Canada and the United States share a nice long border. So....

So Canadians would you move to the United States for a guy/gal?
So Americans would you move to Canada for a guy/gal?

No, it's too bloody cold up there.....Not sure I'd be comfortable living in a society where people don't have guns either. I feel better knowing me and my neighbors could outfit a small army at a moments notice, with just our spare guns that we don't even use.

It would be a ludicrous move for me to go to Canada, since I live near the opposite border.

And no, I would not emigrate to Mexico. I mean, she'd have to pretty much be a bulls-eye on the everything-I-ever-wanted list. And chances are, if she were in Juarez, she'd likely rather move here, where it's safer.

Yes. I don't live that far away from Canada right now anyway, and from pictures I've seen, the mountains and lakes that Canada has in places are gorgeous.

However...

I think I would have to already know the guy, as in we meet here in the US but he's actually from Canada. I wouldn't move if I didn't know him or wasn't really planning on getting married.

Honestly I'd like to move somewhere that never get's very hot. I do not like heat at all. I much prefer this cold weather to summer. I know sounds crazy, but can't stand it.

My DIL is American and moved to Canada to be with my son. Part of the reason they did not both move to the US is because it is much more difficult for a Canadian to get American citizenship than vice versa. And more expensive.

My grandson, (their son) was born in England and registered in the US as a citizen and is on Canadian Health Care. Now that is a pretty sweet deal!

I would only move to the US if I could get decent health care. I would give an arm and a leg for warmer and shorter winters. Anywhere!!

Wouldn't give it a 2nd thought if I felt the Lord leading everything to go into place for that to happen, but, family is here, friends are here, work is here. All those things are important but fluid, too, I can still visit friends and family. And work, God will provide that easy enough . Cold not my favorite but Washington is cold some of the time, too, so could get used to that.
But, yeah, 'nuf said. The Lord leads :)
