Canada/United States would you move cross border for a lady/guy?

Good thought Rachel. Make sure you ask him to live in Prince Edward Island or Vancouver where all the lovely scenery you've mentioned. Toronto is boring. You could call it, the mini New York City!!

Tim Hortons started some branches in the States. Not sure where exactly as I've never been to any where in the States, but I know they have branches there.

I'd move anywhere if I knew he was the right one and God had confirmed that. I don't think it matters where you are as long as you are together and God is the centre of your relationship.

If I was married, I would because... well, that would be the right thing to do. I wouldn't like to have my husband move all by himself. I don't know how excited I would be about moving permanently though. Canada seems like a pretty cool place (from pictures I've seen and what I hear) but I'm very attached to the people I've met here in the US. I wouldn't be totally opposed to the idea, I've moved before more than a couple times and I have actually liked the experience after all....but yeah, it has to be a pretty serious relationshiop, as in married.

We have a few Tim Hortons in my town.

I live in a snowy cold area. I've lived here my whole life. I did actually live in a smaller college town about 20 minutes from where I live now and it was even colder and snowier there. So snow, sleet, ice doesn't phase me. Yes it can be a pain sometimes, but it's part of life around here.

So far this year my town has beaten Buffalo New York in the amount of snow we received.

Imagine I meet an American and we get married and on our wedding night I look and I find a gun!! :D I'll be like Okeeeeeee :rolleyes:And what is this doing here honey?? We haven't started our life together and we already wanna kill each other!! :D And he'll be like, No babe, I'm American!! :D

You are right Fenner, snow becomes part of your life and you get used to it. And actually you see AMAZING nature when trees and everywhere is just white. And it gets even better if you get an ice storm and you see crystals. Seriously, you'll love it. Maybe you saw all of that already!! :)

lol, I do imagine our love affair with guns seems odd to people that grew up in countries where they are banned

We've had lots of ice storms here. I remember one that shut the whole city down for a few days. It was pretty awesome to see. It wasn't awesome not having electricity or heat, but it was beautiful. I live by this state park called Presque Isle, it's on lake Erie. It's an amazing place in the winter. You can ice skate, Ice fish, snow shoe, cross country ski. When you cross country ski you can go on some back trails and look at the wildlife in the winter, it's really cool.

Plus the ice dunes on the lake are awesome in the winter. I wouldn't walk on them, but they're cool to look at.

I go where The Lord leads. We would both have to prey about it, seperately and together with The Lord and be sure it was what He wanted for us. I've learned the hard way that He wants the best for all of us and therefore it is better if we are obedient to Him.
