Makes me wonder, have any of us ever encountered someone who was offended by being wished a merry Christmas or have we only heard about people who were offended that someone might be offended. I just can't personally imagine being offended by someone else's good wishes whether they were based on something that disagreed with my religious beliefs or not.

No, that was November 26th/November27th. Also known as TryToStayAliveWhileShopping days. Or for me, StayAtHome days.
I guess you haven't done much last minute shopping...

Oh they exist.

Where I work, the cashier says, "Have a good day." Some people snap, "Don't tell me what to do!" Okay fine, have a craptastic, in the toilet, really cruddy day if you want.

The best holiday greeting (by far) that I have seen is a small display in a shop window... three figures before a simple creche, with a small sign saying, "Wise men still seek Him."

As for the rest, if my wishing someone a Merry Christmas offends them, then that is their problem! ;)

Whoa! So, by that logic, would they snap at me if I tell them "Get well soon!" when they are sick? Some people can be so frustrating to deal with.

Logic? Really? Come now, a philosophoraptor expecting LOGIC from HUMANS? Surely you know better than that.

Don't tell me to get well soon. A few more days here in the hospital and I'll get that pretty nurse to go out with me. Yeah...
