we have them in the northeast, but it's called fried dough. yeah, we're pretty unimaginative, alas.
I'm picturing -- what's the word for when people are calling out slogans to potential customers, trying to draw them in?
My hometown would be like, "Elephant Ears!! Get your fresh, hot, pillowy soft, cinnamon-y delicious Elephant Ears!"
Apparently, the northeast version would be, "Lumps of Dough!!! Get your lump-ety lump lump Fried Lumps of Dough! Get 'em now -- while they're Extra Lumpy!!"
Sounds like maybe our lovely northeastern friends... Could use a little help in the marketing department.
