A clever brother shared this insightful thought...

clearly, on this earth, we do not experience for every single moment "cotton-like warmth"

such perfect comfort is probably reserved for heaven..

I value his choice of fluffy words and the wisdom expressed in them.

I think that when we get down, weary, or even just frustrated with unmet expectation, we should remember this. I know that I need to. I am one of those annoying pollyanna types, on a mission to see the brightest side. Unrealistic thoughts not centered in balance is something, though, I have been considering a lot lately.

With that said, I do appreciate the moments of Heaven on earth, those delightful dwelling in His midst, in His Kingdom, absorbing those fruity spirited, angels singing moments are such a blessing. But like my Mama always says...

Just like with painful emotions traveled, joy should be fully experienced and savoured, but then we would serve ourselves and others best to then let it go. She still tells me at my ripe age of 53, “babygirl, you harm yourself and your peace, needing to hang on to the high”.

Yeah, I know...she is such a wise blessing.

C'mon now, more like 'delightful Pollyanna' types, if you're going to go there. I always feel the warmth and love of Jesus in your posts!
