1. If you click new posts it brings up new posts regardless of what forum they are in. And as many have said they don't realize what forum they are in right away.

2. Many of the threads in the singles forum don't really apply only to singles. Sometimes we marrieds feel like we're missing out!

3. It's good to have backups in case the spouse keels over in the middle of the night (And I hope I don't really have to explain that that on is a joke!)

My wife tells me that if she passes before I do she wants me to go one to have other relationships. She even generously offered to let my new squeeze use her golf clubs. But of course she can't, because she's left handed.

And of course that last bit was also a joke :)

as to why married people hang in the singles forum. I think I only commented here once or twice when I was married. Although I am still technically married....my imminent divorce is a foregone conclusion and it was not or is not by my choice nor was there any "divorce" worthy sin involved...fyi. Not judging anyone or anything. Just curious as to why married people post in the singles forum.
Well, cause we are awesome that's why. ;) Lol
But seriously, people that do post here that are married have been on both sides of the spectrum of being single and the issues that we have, but they are also able to remind us that God has that special someone and to continue having faith and trust in him.

I think it's cool because married people can give us a lot of advice on what to do or not do haha. :)

Doesn't bother me provided the information regarding your marital or relationship status is publicly disclosed. I don't want some guy annoyed with me if he sees me chatting up his gf when I didn't even know.

Because the title, "Christian Singles Forum" is really just a front for our underground Pez collector's club. :p

Sorry guys, I had to tell him!

Okay, what are we not supposed to do?
Don't take away or step on his desire and ability to provide and to be the hunter gatherer and the protector. If you doubt him...don't let him know that.... but instead encourage him to be the man that he wants to be.

Whats the deal with these singles areas on CC? Far as I know this is not a dating site, so whats the problem? Maybe we should get a Married forum as well...making sure theres no exchange of words between married people and single people. Nobody has yet told me that having a conversation with a person who is single is an abomination in BDF, so why is it a problem in singles forum? Is there a hidden dating agenda endangering married people in there? A few hours back I was visiting the singles chat, and I was literally (yes, literally) laughed out of the chat room due to the fact that I am married. What is the problem? Is the single forum the CC freemasonry?

I think part of it is there have been much older people hitting/flirting with/to the point of almost asking out people much, much, much younger than them.. Although some of these people are single also, I think maybe the thought of a married folk interacting with a single folk can come across as flirtatious. I don't think there's anything wrong with married folks in the singles forum, as long the intentions are clean and pure.

No, it isn't, and I'm sorry for being a bit sarchastic, but this wasn't about you, sirk:) This thread is not the problem, you have just asked a question. The problem is a few other experiences I've had on here, but the subject of your thread made me post here. I hope we're still good:)

We are good. I didn't mean to offend or come across as being judgmental and if I did I apologize. :)
