kayM, you mentioned your mom is being 'a rebellious catholic,' maybe she just is wanting to know what's gotten into you in last year to change your belief and your self to Christ so committedly and , the Lord leads, maybe she would be open to.going to church with you.

"Me and God" time is very important, especially when it comes to certain situations like the one you are facing ... We have that strong connection with Him and know the right steps to take.
