Ever presented with a situation, where pretty much the ONLY thing you can do is pray, and you want to pray, you need to pray, for hours you want to pray...

...and your brain is so clogged up by the circumstances that all you can manage is to just lift your eyes heaven-ward, shake your head, and say, "Uh...help?"

*scratches head* Man.

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for with groanings too deep for words." Romans 8:26

Something like that, Shour?

If so...yes. Definitely. More than once.

Finally done with my big summer trip for our family reunion. I had a great time catching up with friends and family I haven't seen in many years, soaking up some sun, and getting stuffed with good southern cookin'... but I am very glad to be back home in Alaska. :)

Also: I felt very loved today. That was nice.

I pray you're all doing well, good CC folk. :)

When I woke up this morning, I looked out the window (curtain was open), and it seemed really dark, but the entire sky (er...the entire tiny square of sky that I could see from my bed) was red. Very, very red.

And I was all, "Oh! Oh no! There must be a fire! It must be close!"

So I scrambled out of bed and turned off the air conditioner (so I could better hear the fire, I guess), and peeked out the window. And as soon as I pressed my nosy nose to the window....CRAAAAAAAACK!!! The loudest rumble of thunder I've heard in a long while.

And I jumped so bad that I fell backwards on my bed.

No fire, by the way. Just the morning sun turning the bottoms of the clouds that were moving in red.

My husband was standing by his closet on the other side of the room. I didn't know he was there until he started laughing at me.

G'morning, people :D

Leaving in about an hour for a new beginning. I have no expectations, only trust and hope. God has never failed me, so whatever He has in store will be more than fine with me. I don't even want to know where the road will lead (as long as it leads to Him). I'm just going to enjoy the ride. :)

I'm going to be on a self-imposed CC fast for a couple of weeks too. I need to be focused on other things right now. I pray God will be with all of you wherever you find yourselves and that you enjoy what remains of your Summer....or whatever season it is where you are. :)

Dear iTOREtheSky,

While we appreciate your submission to start a thread, unfortunately we will have to decline.
It has come to our attention via many numerous emails, texts, phone calls, and yes even snail
mail that a one named Itore has been causing a disturbance amongst the CC'ers .
According to our bylaws, we allow for one infraction against the somberness of CC before we
take a stand.
As you have had twenty-five complaints logged against you in the past month, we are unable
and unwilling to continue our agreement with you and your craziness.
Please return your dues, CC shirts, and CC jacket to us within ten business days and we will
be sure to drop this matter in a most heavenly manner.

Yours truly,
The Peanut Gallery
You can get a jacket!?

I had one of the strangest dreams last night. I encountered and befriended a very lonely and depressed Justin Bieber, who recently realized that despite all his success, he wasn't satisfied. We had a surprisingly deep conversation in which I tried to explain why the things of this world alone aren't enough to satisfy our deepest needs. The end of the dream gets a little hard to remember but I'm pretty sure he just said he needed to think a lot of stuff over.

Growing up, my parents always told me that if I had a dream about someone that I never or very rarely think about (like, say... Justin Bieber), that perhaps it's a sign that they need prayer. So, odd as it sounds, this morning I woke up and prayed for Justin Bieber.

I think that's awesome, Loveneverfails. I haven't heard that about dreams, but I have heard that if you think of someone randomly, to pray for them because they're on your heart for a reason, even if it seems really odd or out of place.

Thanks, Rachel :) yeah, I've heard that about someone popping into our thoughts randomly, too. It's pretty amazing the ways God speaks to us.
