One has to wonder how much it was preference, and how much it was just the only option that didn't bring all kinds of social stigma crashing down on people's heads. Sometimes I also wonder how faithful people really were to their spouses in olden days or if we've kind of whitewashed and romanticized that.
I think what was once hidden in the dark has become commonplace. To me that means a greater acceptance and a greater practice.

No, Bible says it’s not good for man to be alone and since all scripture is God breathed I believe Him! 😊

It's quite interesting to see so many differing viewpoints. I've often had questions concerning this topic. Paul, while being a great man of God, is just that--a man. That being said, i believe God used pauls passage to tell us that both marriage and celibacy are good. I believe it is a matter of asking God which one is for you and listening for HIS answer.

From what I heard many more Christians come into the family through being born into christian homes.
I think being celibate is about being dedicated to bring them int the family in other ways.

Lots more room in heaven, so let get fruity.
