I never would say "I´m the son of a king" (it sounds boastful for me).
If by any chance He says that, for my sake, He already knows those words of Paul never served to improve my selfesteem. I am who I am and the Gospel is not to nurture or enrich my ego (like my brother Aby thinks) it is just to be humble and meek.
Mat 11:29 Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest.
I don´t remember Jesus having said: I´m a Prince or boastfully saying, "My dad is a King".
It seems, to me, Paul manipulated ppl´s low selfesteem to help them, somehow.
I rather like this, that Jesus said, teaching: "Luk 18:13 The tax collector stood off at a distance and did not think he was good enough even to look up toward heaven. He was so sorry for what he had done that he pounded his chest and prayed, "God, have pity on me! I am such a sinner." "
I wish this secular sinner changed to be like that repented man.
