As far as I can tell... s.a.p. stands for self appointed prophets....
Which is funny because it's God that appoints people to positions, not by our own whims and desires.
Exactly, Narrow. :)

S.A.P. is just Seoulsearch being bad.

I've been on CC since 2009 and have witnessed tons of "preach to the masses because I have more knowledge than everyone else here combined and you're all going to hell" self-appointed prophets. One stop in the Bible Discussion Forum and you'll see several, as well as the few we have who regularly troll Singles.

They love to post long walls of copy-and-pasted Scriptures that have little to do with the topic of the threads. They rant on at others endlessly, show little to no grace, and when asked about their own church affiliation, refuse to answer because they will say that churches are "man-made" and that "they believe in the one true God."

They refuse to be held accountable to anyone.

Which makes one wonder... Who really is their God? The Lord God Almighty... or... themselves? Therefore, I coined the term Self-Appointed Prophet.

Another poster here used to call them Lone Wolves.

I'm sorry of my joke was misunderstood. MysteryReader, I've never seen anyone be able to fix a poll after it was already posted--kudos to you! Now I'm going to be asking you for advice on how to write polls. :)

As a born again Christian and a King's kid, I am free from religion of any kind, praise Jesus!

This poll lists denominations along with non-Christian religions. The pollster appears to not understand what religion is, nor that Christian denominations are not religions.

I never would say "I´m the son of a king" (it sounds boastful for me).

If by any chance He says that, for my sake, He already knows those words of Paul never served to improve my selfesteem. I am who I am and the Gospel is not to nurture or enrich my ego (like my brother Aby thinks) it is just to be humble and meek.

Mat 11:29 Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest.

I don´t remember Jesus having said: I´m a Prince or boastfully saying, "My dad is a King".

It seems, to me, Paul manipulated ppl´s low selfesteem to help them, somehow.

I rather like this, that Jesus said, teaching: "Luk 18:13 The tax collector stood off at a distance and did not think he was good enough even to look up toward heaven. He was so sorry for what he had done that he pounded his chest and prayed, "God, have pity on me! I am such a sinner." "

I wish this secular sinner changed to be like that repented man.

It's a false humility to not declare who you are in Christ. We are King's kids and the light of the world! The salt of the earth! It's time we stood up strong and tall about who and Whose we are!

Man's indoctrination may work for others, but I'm a little stubborn; my only religion is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit.
