Ultimately this is what is boils down to.Its like buying a great looking car yet after a while you realise the engine inside it doesn't work good at all. That car is just taking you NOWHERE!πŸ˜‰
Indeed, something to keep in mind about ALL physical aspects when dating.

Or to put it in the terminology of my world: It doesn't matter how sleek and impressive the laptop looks. I have to find out what kind of processor it has before I know if it will suit me.

I remember my favorite poem when I was a kid 😊

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

Poem by : Cecil F. Alexander

I am a tiny lady although I prefer 5'ft to 5'8"ft...height doesn't matter for me, as the poem says All things are wise and wonderful the Lord God made them all πŸ˜‡
Yes I grew up hearing this song being sung in church ect..school assembly ect too.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
If you're a tiny lady then that makes you a tiny bundle of joy then...😊

Ha ha loving these metaphors..yes exactly coz not every laptop is compatible..
Just like saying you may be size 6 in shoes..but just coz a shoe is size 6 does mean it's a comfortable fit..πŸ‘’πŸ‘‘πŸ‘ πŸ‘ŸπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

It matters to me coz I feel safe and he can have a damsel to save, even if I have to fake it. πŸ˜† They get to be the superhero. But that's easy for me to say since Im only 5'1. 🀣
So you would fake saying to him..."pls come and rescue me"..🀣🀣that would most definitely make him feel needed, useful to you and be your superman, iron man ect..
I guess a woman needs to know that the guy she is with can man up when necessary to demonstrate his manliness...which isnt about him being aggressively violent towards others πŸ’ͺ

It's always been funny to me that the "ideal" women in advertisements and entertainment are always portrayed as being very tall (according to Google, the required height for female models is between 5'9" and 6 feet tall.)

Most women don't come anywhere near that (in reference again to Herr Google, the average woman's height is "just under 5'4".

I can't help but wonder if all the men who are 5'9" and shorter are breathing a sigh of relief.

Women subconsciously want a taller guy/bigger frame because they expect guys to protect them. It's not all about looks, but also about functional purposes. Similar men look for certain qualities in women for breeding.

Yes I think they most probably are..I mean if they date a woman whose 5'8 and they are say 5'0..using a stool to stand on just to look deep into her eyes could either be seen as sweet or a romantic killer..πŸ‘/πŸ‘ŽπŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Many women can have a certain appeal when they are shorter sometimes like 5'0..πŸ˜‰

More proof that the fashion industry is way out of touch with reality. People who model their lives after... Well, models... Get more out of sync with reality everyday.

Now if only we as a culture would wake up and realize the same thing about the medical field and their ridiculous BMI charts.

i find that really tall men seek little women and little women seek really tall men.

Could be a god given instinct to keep people in general at a healthy intended size for people.

Marketing
Set the ideal as something most women can not reach.
Then sell them something to get them closer to it.
Mean but effective.

In my case it would be seeing a nice care that you really want or a nice pair of shoes for that matter and finding out it does not come in your size. Then go to the place that will make them custom for you only to find out in the end they cant make them in your size.
When your really small or really big life just does not come in your size.

Was thinking I would build two vacation rental homes some day.
One giant sized and one hobbit sized so people of extremes can feel like they fit for once.

Thats hard to tell as in the animal kingdom animals that are the same breed also come in various sizes..I guess this is the uniqueness of creation in general.

Speaking if which in the animal kingdom has you noticed how many animals seek to make themselves look bigger inorder to intimidate a rival ect...so it seems that size does seem to matter in one way or another.😊

That's the deceptive thing coz I guess there is a sense tha a man should be strong, protective and manifest a kind of heroic manliness in both physically in his appearance and in how he is as a male in relation to a relationship. There are so many guys who are silently dying inside unable to express their struggles, failures and their inability to cope with certain things in life. Many have no outlet and many are dying inside alone coz to open up many will perceive this as being weak..sad really.
I guess the desire for a man to have a kind of manly presence about him is definitely perceived at times by his physical form.. yet many times what he is inside is far from being protective.

All mens perceptions on women varie. However in some cultures having children is a definite factor in what some men look for..

meh I just think people should be EXACTLY the same size. But they arent. God took a rib out of Adam and Eve was made from just ONE rib. So women tend to be smaller not just in height.

That also means women tend to work ten times as harder as man to keep up. The annoying thing is men have often belittled womens efforts as if what we do doesnt count.

In spiritual terms though height doesnt matter. Zaccheus climbed a tree to see better.
The interesting thing is, females MATURE earlier then males. Ever teach a class of boys and girls of similar age. the girls always outpace the boys! Boys are comparatively clumsier. what advantages they have in size make things awkward for them when they need to do things in detail.

Its the little things that count.

Intresting thought there..I guess height is also a relative term as some parts if the world the average height of men and women can differ from another part if the world. One thing I have noticed is the size of youngsters these days I love in London England and many school kids (aged say 11-15)are built like mature adults..
Yes unfortunately some men have feeling of thinking that they are superior to women and many women have to battle against discrimination on many different levels just to have a sense of equality.Yet jesus liberated women and went totally against the social dynamics if his day..He treated women with respect, dignity and grace..he also challenge the hypocritical attitudes of men when they were gonna stone that poor lady.."where was the man?"
This should challenge Christian men to ask God to alter their perception of women esp their partners.
Males have egos and many are naturally competitive seeking to prove themselves and the strange thing is that their ego is very easily crushed giving them low self esteem coz despite the outward display many are actually sensitive yet not know how to express this in an articulate way verbally at times
