Any person with the user name “jelly belly” is not a real woman. Just sayin’
Then you have never met my mother... or a few of the girls at my workplace... or my aunt... or a few of the ladies at my church... or actually a lot of women I know. There are lots of ladies not afraid to laugh at themselves.

Laughing at yourself and self deprecating humor is COMPLETELY different from calling yourself a derogatory nickname about your stomach, of all body parts. Ask these ladies you know if they would call themselves “Jelly Belly”. I bet you any amount of money, they would not. A woman may joke about her nose, her chin, her legs, her thighs, but women do not make nicknames disparaging themselves, nor do they choose the stomach as that is the one body part MOST women are most sensitive about. Look, there is no way to know if “jelly belly” is actually a man or a woman. My instincts say “man”. Call it female intuition.

I paint with a broad brush, because it covers more area. Most people fit into categories, this is why criminal profiling is a thing that is used in forensics. Most women can’t choke a grown man to death with their bare hands, for example. Broad brush, but it often works.

How come you don’t have me on ignore?

Just recently went through a breakup. Still don't want to give up on love!

What would it take for God to give me the desires of my heart?
one word.
one snap of his fingers.
one breathe from his mouth.

The Lord is faithful!
For those who are also having a heartbreak of whatever kind. The Lord is bigger than all of our troubles.
He is ABLE, He is anxious to do it!
we just need to hold on and don't let go.
halleluja
It's coming around again.

"I know nothing stays the same
But if you're willing to play the game
It's coming around again
So don't mind if I fall apart
There's more room in a broken heart

And I believe in love

But what else can I do
I'm so in love with you"

Blessings...

Don’t you think if that were the case, God would spell out the criteria? God is not cruel.

Making the sun stand still is not adhering to God’s laws to the dot- it is going outside His laws as He put the Earth and planets in motion.

You put the onus on people, when the onus is on God. He decides to grant or deny requests based on whether or not the requests interfere with His will.

Do not tell me my sister died and my request was denied because of something I did or did not do. This is one of the most horrible things I have ever read on this site.
I suppose my brother died because I didn't know the magic formula or jump through the hoops.

Just like Jacob.
Genesis 32:25-26
25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob's hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.”
But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

We need to remember the promises of God.

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

I was agreeing with you Sis.
Alright, thanks. I was not sure. Apparently, millions of people don’t know the magic words and magic rites in order to get prayers answered. I for one, do not believe God is arbitrary and capricious.

I am sorry to hear about your brother, I don’t know if people recognize the pain of losing siblings. Our siblings are genetically, the people most like us- and raised by the same parents, so personalities and experiences are similar. Siblings are generally around the same age, so it is distressing when they die at a young age. We expect to have the into old age with us.

Thanks. Yes it's hard to lose a sibling. He was 2 years older, died all of a sudden, and my only sibling. Sorry you've felt that same pain.

I have never yet used the ignore button on this forum for the same reason I have never joined Facebook - neither fits my use case. I will join Facebook if I know some friends far away with whom I want to keep in touch. I will use the ignore button if somebody irritates me. It is very hard for words on a screen to irritate me.

And without even trying I can think of two women at work who call themselves "Hungry Hungry Hippos." They are both short and wide, they both have a great sense of humor and they both eat a bit more than average. You might want to check the width of your brush because I think it's painting outside the borders.

I would bet an indiscriminate amount of money that those ladies would not make a user name on an online message board making fun of their stomachs.

I subscribe to a Sherlockian school of thought- I make deductions. It is called deductive reasoning.

I am very often signing letters and notes with an elephants behind. Have done so from I was a teen. If I should take my self so seriously that I can't make a joke about it, I would drive myself nuts.

Somehow you're dead right, I don't think I'd say Jelly Belly Kelly if I really had a jelly belly...

Perhaps that is why I am insane. The potential causes are never ending.

I have observed on message boards that woman invariably make usernames that are cute or positive in some manner. I have yet to stumble across a real woman with an online user name that disparages her looks. Even women with their self esteems in the pits make positive usernames.

Deductive reasoning. I must go play my violin poorly and shoot up some cocaine.

Sometimes you can make deductions without announcing them. Especially when the deductions, if wrong, would be insulting.

I make predictions about people all the time. The negative ones I keep to myself (assuming there is not high risk of imminent harm to somebody.) Usually I am right, occasionally I am wrong, but I have never regretted keeping the negative ones to myself.

Accusing somebody of being a guy posing as a girl is one of those deductions you probably should have kept to yourself. Mostly because, as I have already proven, some women DO have that kind of sense of humor.

No doubt. Most women named Kelly have probably been called “jelly belly” at some point in their childhoods and it is not quite pleasant.

But what do I know?

Caw, caw, the big, black crow comes to be negative and noisy once again.

I am the villain this forum needs.

I cannot imagine what that must feel like. Even now I'm welling upn just reading it.

I posted the below on#66

I sincerely hope that I haven't come across as blase.
And if anyone who has read that feels that, it was not my intention.

It's just Bible verses that God laid on my heart when he was bringing me out of the trauma of my childhood.

I fully recognise that just quoting Bible verses doesn't help.
Compassion and love between believers should be our aim.

And Holmes was NOT a poor violin player! He was sometimes moody and played sonorous songs, but his technique was by all accounts good.

Though he did regrettably use cocaine. But he was fictional so he could get out of the long term effects. Last I heard he was keeping bees on the southern downs.

Naw, not unless you want people to question your gender. Bro needs to understand female psychology. I don’t care how bad a woman’s self esteem is, there ain’t NO way a chick would make a user name being negative about her body. Especially not her stomach.

Ever think that the user really likes these?
