"what?" after you tell them hi, hey, or call their names, whether in IM, text message, or real life conversation. it makes me not want to talk anymore coz it gives me the impression that im bothering the person, or somethin like that.

One's that get me are:

"It's none of my business, but.... " or when someone continuously uses "you know..".
Keeponsmiling, it makes me nuts when people say "like" a million times over!! Like you know, like, that guy right there is like, ya know like so cute. LOL!! :)

I can't stand the ''I see" either. It's like really, that's your conversational input? I see?

''okay'' What does that even mean?! Okay what? Okay everything is okay? Or okay everything is not okay, and you're just trying to make me think it is okay? OR Okay you understand what i'm saying, but don't know what else to say okay?

''oh'' Just shut up... ''oh'' isn't even worth the breath wasted to say it.
Nod, the word "oh" doesnt even make sense in any sentence, lol..Saying "shut up" delivers the message quite more clearly, IMO. :) Its like saying, "oh be quiet." The "oh" is useless in that sentence. :)

Not only that, but when someone constantly uses the word ''literally'' the wrong way. '' I went to the movies last night and the movie was literally awesome. I literally died! Johnny, my boyfriend, literally died too!'' Literally, I don't think they know what literally means.
Kayem77, they literally have no idea of what literally means. LITERALLY!! Lol. :p

I hate it when people say "okay?" at the end of a statement or instructions, I never know if they think I am stupid or if that's just the way they say stuff LOL

when I'm at work and I'm cleaning off a table or mopping the floor the male customers in their 40's or 50's or 60's tell me I'll make a great wife one day and a few of the regular customers will ask maybe once a week "have you found yourself a boyfriend yet?" Now that I got my braces off they say "Now that you have a great smile you should go out and find yourself a husband" I just feel like punching them or slapping them across the face and they are in their 70's soo annoying its not even funny
Omg, I used to get those kind of remarks too...or else what I hate is when someone is talking about their lives and they say they have a nephew or son and as soon as I acknowledge that or ask a question, they assume I am asking because I want to hook up with them and that was not even CLOSE to what I was thinking!!! It makes me sick!!

When I was in grade 4, my class used to trade classes with my brother's class...art for us and music for them....and whenever the teacher used to demonstrate something she would CONSTANTLY say 'like so' and I used to get soooo annoyed! And I would tell my brother and my mom that day at the dinner table and my brother would staunchly defend her like no other, which drove me even more angry and I would tell him 'sorry, but its the truth, she DOES say it ALL the time...deal with it!' LOL

I dislike it whenever somebody is saying "just saying" to sugarcoat something bad they just said.

Some people just need a punch in the nose...
Wow, very Christ-like/lady-like of you. :p

1 Thessalonians 5:15
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

Is punching someone a sin??

When you punch someone, it's out of anger.

Is anger a sin?

James 1:19-20
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.

Psalm 37:8-9
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret--it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

ANGER CAN LEAD TO SIN!

Mark 9:43
And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire.

I see this on social media, but I can't stand when people are talking about their friend or boyfriend and say "the bestie" or "the boyfriend".

They. Have. Names.

I don't mind "my best friend" or "my boyfriend", but for some reason, eliminating the "my" and replacing it with "the" just grates on me. It's like it makes them a possession and it's less personal.

and by extension, "the husband," or "the wife." Although for some reason that doesn't bother me as much.

I had a friend who referred to his wife as "the woman God put in charge of me." It was both cringe-ingly annoying and funny at the same time.

Drives me crazy when people end every sentence with "Whatnot".

"I went to the store & bought some clothes and WHATNOT"

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

When in the world did this become a way to end a sentence?

The past 2 years I have heard more & more people using this.I knew a girl who used it at the end of nearly every sentence she spoke. When I mentioned it to her she said she didn't even realize she was doing it.

To clarify, the ONLY time I say "shut up" is when my cat starts meowing incessantly in the middle of the night for no obvious reason. :p LOL!!! :)

Misscoldasice, it makes me cringe when someone pm's me and ALL they say is "hi" or "hello" and thats all. Then you say hi back and it takes them like an hour to respond. That makes me absolutely nuts!!! :p

Itorethesky, I say "whatnot" alot!! That girl probably bought more than just clothes, so she used whatnot as a collective word. :) Like she bought clothes, went grocery shopping, to the bank, etc etc. So she used whatnot to collectively describe the rest of what she did. :)
