I’m conducting research and collecting empirical data for the case study: do men prefer long or short hair on women? Your answer could contribute to solving serious societal issues in regards to the topic. Thank you in advance.

If you're interested in the opinion of a married man, my preference has always been for short hair. When Sinead O'Connor's video 'Nothing Compares To You' video came out I thought she looked incredible.

I adore long hair. It's luscious.

Short hair is pert and businesslike, and I like it on a few women.

Depends on the person. I like a lot of things, although nice hair is an attractant. Not necessarily long hair.

short hair seems quite common in older aged women (or they somehow take long hair and make it fluffy idk).

I am aware of the laborious maintenance of long hair (having the longest hair I've ever had atm) and so I would understand shorter hairstyle preference in a woman. Not sure if I would concede or not though.

(Keeping in mind you asked for our opinions - if anybody wants to argue about it, hey, it's your hair to do with whatever you want.)

I have to join the majority and say long hair. It looks better, and there's just something that gets a guy about a woman with long hair.

I vote for natural. If it's naturally straight, you can't make it look curly without making it look fake. Even naturally curly hair that has been straightened looks... odd. Nothing technically wrong with it, and you do whatever you want with your hair. But it just looks weird.

Absolutely prefer long hair but it’s not a deal breaker for me if she does not. I would want her to be happy with whatever she likes, it’s her hair.

I forgot to mention I have enjoyed snuggling in long hair and will put it over my head to take a pic and see if I look good in long hair? 🤷‍♂️😂 weird I know 😉

I have no preference, except she knows what looks good. Hair grows back anyway.

Not all faces are enhanced by long hair, best answer so far, to something that matters little.

1 Corinthians 11:14, "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering."
