Really...people get uptight over the way people play a video game?!

Have they nothing better to do?
Oh sure! Try going to a Wasteland forum and saying bladed (weapon skill) is better than blunt or brawling, is in fact the best melee weapon class in the game. See how much flak you get.

In Philippians it talks about not letting our joy be ruined by man's foolish philosophies. I'd extend that to foolish talk. Guarding the tongue is so important. I was about to tell a story of someone's cruel words and stopped while typing. I will own the joy and beauty that I have today.

I rêally start to dislike people that are all talk and no action.

I have found sadly that some churches are like that. They want to discuss everything first in meeting after meeting. Then it take months and months for any decisions to be made.

Sometimes you just got to make up your mind and do something you know. If God wants you to obey him in an area then you dont dither about it. You do it.

Dont worry about tomorrow. Just do all you can do today.

If you do that with running a church, you get a LOT of people complaining loudly because it is their church too and they don't want to do that. Group organizations that do group things require group discussion of what they want to do.

I've probably shared this one before but my favourite bit of foolish words happened in my 20s. I was standing with some of my friends at church, and a fellow I'd never spoken to before, approached us and started with, "You know what the problem with you girls is?" (and let me tell you guys, any woman would be so receptive with that as an opening line, "You use too many big words. Guys don't like girls who go spouting off. Makes 'um uncomfortable." Needless to say, none of us chose to make ourselves more attractive to this fellow. In later years my inside voice thought of different replies like "You mean words like "submissive" or "obedient"?", or "Well sir, if I have to use flash cards to communicate, then I don't think the relationship has much of a future." In truth I know that none of us were loud or prideful. I also know, even if I'd thought of those things then, I would not have said them. The only truth was that none of us were his forever lady. I can live with that. This history major thinks words are a beautiful gift.

What does he MEAN that's the trouble with you girls?! Men can be grandiloquent too.
