For some reason this post was at the top of the forum on my screen, yet the newest post is 2 weeks old. Weird.
I've also noticed old threads showing up as recent threads. Very odd!
It's because they're polls, and the thread gets "bumped" every time someone else votes on the poll. :)

Hi, I'm 21 & I think about dating a lot coz I'm totally in love with a guy I knew since I was 5. I knw he liked me too growing up bt then he left the country 4 a while & my love just grew. I just wana knw how can I learn to live with these feelings until God brings us together (if we are destined 4 eachother?) or until these feelings go away?

Agape, that makes little sense and had nothing to do with the subject of the thread.

Rachel, excellent post, mate! It's brilliant that you've got to the stage where you can rely on God for your every need and find validation in him. That's pretty rare in this day and age. On another note, I've also noticed old threads showing up as recent threads. Very odd!
Dear Brother TinTin Thank you for your comment. I regret that you have not made a connection about my comment. So, that is my mistake i will simplify then. First, we all have way more thoughts than some are aware of so the distress that come from these thoughts within a day about a boyfriend or girlfriend, the effect is upon ones heart and soul which has a greater effect upon our lives than all these thousands of thoughts of other things, In proverbs it is stated,” Hope deferred makes the heart sick”, what you are hoping for and do not have makes the heart and soul sick, well the Lord has allowed this in those lives that they now do not have the longing that is in their hearts, yet at this time the Lord has allow this deferment, so what is the second part of the verse, but “when the desire comes it is a tree of life”, the ultimate desire in our Spirit is Jesus, He is more fulfilling He is our eternal tree of love, joy and ecstasy that a wife a boyfriend and girlfriend or a husband cannot be actually in those relationship the flow of the Holy Spirit should be our source of all the fruits of in a relationship, Jesus is our ultimately eternal reward joy peace Agape Love that can never be matched by a boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband, so this is very relevant or ultimate wisdom to the thread. If the Lord does not fulfill our desire and we become sick in our soul this is a positive that we will be healed by Him and He alone. My reply to the thread is from my experience so, if you still believe my comments are not of any value what else can I write? If, you could be kind then that would be good spiritual fruit. God bless you in more Agape.

Thank you for explaining what you were talking about previously. I was confused because you didn't provide any context to your post. Now you have. I don't feel I wasn't been kind, just blunt (that's Aussies for you). I'm sorry though, I could've replied with more love. Thanks, mate. God Bless.

It's as equally hard for me as it is with all of singles; whether we want to admit it or not. But the thought occurs to me at times when I think about it the most; what we have now is something most married folk don't have. We have time. Yes we work. Yes we have a social life. Yes we go out on activities and such. We do all those things. But we have time. Time to grow and focus on what we need. When we get married, we won't have that anymore because we will be focused on our spouse and kids. So if we wait and enjoy the time we have now, when comes the time for us to marry, it will be even sweeter than we ever imagined. I just found this quote today that is perfect for this thread:

When asked why I am single, my reply is simply; I consider myself a black pearl rare in my authenticity, adding a mysterious beauty to the select few who can recognize & even fewer who appreciate my worth. So instead of dating, I throw myself into working in the field. If my Boaz recognizes me amongst the black rocks...great! If not, the magnificence of my rarity will simply radiate onto those working the fields as well in the form of teaching, which is what I do. - Sanjo Jenday

why do ppl pull zombie threads forward and then delete their posts? I mean, honestly, what's the sense in pulling it forward if you're only gonna delete your post? :/

This is a poll. When somebody votes on it the thread is pulled forward as though somebody posted.

If the singles front page shows somebody posted a few minutes ago, then you read the actual post and it was a few weeks ago, somebody's vote triggered it.

We Christians must desire to put God first in life second our family and friends. But somehow this priority becomes hard to do. I do too. There r times that God became my last priority in life, i know that i have to change that and desire God more and make him my top priority. What our pastor advised is to read the bible and pray and think God always and pray alot, talk to him and ask him for conviction to make him first in our life. I will pray for.
