Its not the same as sexual intercourse, but you're not exercising self control and it doesnt solve anything. Because it becomes habitual and can be idolatry, because it interferes with the fellowship you're supposed to have with God.

Take full advantage of your single time. You have a lot of freedom right now to get strong and secure. What would a Christian woman have to support and what vision and calling would she reasonably be able to submit to and be secure in?

I'm not defending it. That's a whole other discussion. I just mean that there's a big difference between masturbation and intercourse with another person. Not meaning one's worse then the other either. Just that they're different. It's a lot harder for me to be with a guy who's had something that intimate with another woman vs just on his own.
