First, I have to see if I have any extra teeth I can spare. Then, I'll have to knock out 4 of them (my childhood tooth fairy paid a quarter per tooth) and try to fit them all under my pillow. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll adjust for inflation. And she didn't leave anything when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, so may I can lobby for back pay...
If we were all together, I'd be happy to spring for a pizza party for us all. Wow. Do I have that many teeth??? I may have to borrow some of yours... (That could be fun--a CC Pizza Party turned Slug Fest in order to "borrow" some teeth so I can raise the funds... Maybe we could just invite some of the trolls and a few people from the Bible Discussion Forum. KIDDING!!!)
You know Roh, you actually got me thinking as to why I make such long introductory posts to begin with. Back in grad school, the professor overseeing my Master's Thesis program told us all that the very first thing we had to do was build a case as to why anyone would be interested in our topic to begin with, and that lesson really stuck with me.
I know not every thread will be for everyone to answer, but my primary goal with the first post is to try to give people a reason to want to discuss the topic in the first place.
And my favorite thing of all is to see people who might not otherwise talk much start to really share with the rest of the community.
I also need some of you to convert some of my friends (and family) in real life, as I don't think they'll recognize the person you're describing in this thread!!! My Mom told my high school boyfriend, "She's something only a mother can love."
