And here I thought all the mummies were Egyptian! ;) Hello and welcome, JennaLeanne!
They are all Egyptian. She was separated from the other mummies during the Exodus.

Welcome to Christian Chat, JennaLeanne! I hope and pray that you enjoy your stay with us. God bless.

Haha! I sure hope not
You 'hope' not? That's not very comforting. In fact you sound rather unsure. I'm keeping it around, just to be safe. *eyeballs you suspiciously

I say I would hope not but you never know... I'm an elementary teacher. If you've ever been a teacher of young children, you would know that when one kid gets sick, everyone gets sick.

Because I chose to. Korea and other countries (especially in Asia) hire native English speakers like ourselves to come over and help them teach to children since our English is supposedly perfect and theirs oftentimes is not.

My experience in teaching has been a mix. It really depends heavily on the school and who you end up working with in the classroom. The best bet is to do what I did and apply to a program that places you in a public school. Most of the horror stories come from private academies who feel they can do whatever they want with the poor helpless foreigners. The program I was hired through was EPIK. I now work for GEPIK and will be switching back to EPIK (it's basically the same program but different locations). The pay is steady and the benefits are pretty good.
