Hello peeps. Sometimes I wonder why I keep on fighting. Everything that can go wrong has, on my move. They won't have a $488 apartment until January. The one I bid on was available 11-22-2020. They finally came up with a $588 apartment for Dec. 7th. I go for that maybe trying to get it straightened out later. I had to get renters insurance (about $59 down) and put up an electric deposit of $180 because a previous tenant had some paying problems.

I am having trouble reserving a Uhaul truck my needed size and today my battery in my Caddie is being pulled down by something. I had AAA start it this morning and let it run an hour. Still would start this afternoon. My ex-wife is on the way to take me to my doctor's appointment. Pray for, please.

Has Bob Dylan sold out?

Tangled Up in Green: Bob Dylan Sells Entire Song Catalog for Estimated $300 Million
Thom Geier 49 mins ago

Universal Music Group announced Monday that it had acquired Bob Dylan's entire catalog of songs in a deal that the New York Times estimated to be worth north of $300 million.

The deal includes 600-plus copyrights ranging from 1962's "Blowin' in the Wind" to 1964's "The Times They Are A-Changin" to this year's "Murder Most Foul" — a ballad about the 1963 assassination of John F. Kennedy that became the 79-year-old rock pioneer's first No. 1 hit.

"It's no secret that the art of songwriting is the fundamental key to all great music, nor is it a secret that Bob is one of the very greatest practitioners of that art," Lucian Grainge, the CEO of the Universal Music Group, said in a statement.

A pioneer in the folk-rock movement of the 1960s, Dylan in 2016 memorably became the first songwriter in history to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. The Swedish Academy cited his work "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."

"To represent the body of work of one of the greatest songwriters of all time — whose cultural importance can't be overstated — is both a privilege and a responsibility," Universal Music Publishing Group Chairman & CEO Jody Gerson said in a statement. "We look forward to working with Bob and the team in ensuring his artistry continues to reach and inspire generations of fans, recording artists and songwriters around the world."

The deal caps a song catalog acquisition spree within the music industry this year. Last week, the independent Primary Wave Music paid an estimated $80 million for a majority stake in former Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks' back catalog. And according to the Times, the U.K.-based Hipgnosis Songs Fund has spent at least $670 million this year accumulating 44,000 songs by Barry Manilow, Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, Blondie and other artists.

I backed out of the move to Tulsa. They kept monkeying with the apartment monthly price until I finally said enough. After raising to price on me they claimed I no longer made 3 times my rent. I pointed I did until they increased the amount, so they relented. They were up to $604 a month from $488. Electric and cable on top of that. I finally found one here in Vinita for $433 plus electric. But now I have to wait 1-2 weeks until cleared on that one.

Good morning peeps. Happy Tuesday to you one in all. I had to buy a new battery for my Caddie: $165 worth. Whew! If I don't run out of money this month it will be a miracle. So far $600 rent for this house and $431 utilities deposit.
