I am single as well. Last year I started searching high and low for any guy that would give me the time of day. After a while, however, it occurred to me that God has the perfect person out there for me when His timing is right. That being said, I am single and happy until the day God sends that someone special into my path.

It happens. *lol*

It didn't take me long into my Christian walk to realize that a lot of single people in the church are no different from single people in the world. A lot of emphasis is placed on money, social status, looks, career etc. While I can understand why a person would not want to get involved with someone that they may not be physically attracted to or someone who has reckless spending habits, the simple truth is that most people follow the desires of their own flesh when it comes to dating rather than looking for God's character in a person.

Yeah! I hope so!

In regards to the whole looking for God's character in a problem instead of that other stuff...I'm finding that all that's coming at me is the superficial and attracting a man with Godly character is harder than I thought. Haha
But in all seriousness, I don't even find myself looking for "the one" anymore, just seeking God in absolutely everything. That way when the guy comes along, I'll know God so well that I'll recognize Him in him. :D
