I feel your pain. Moving into my own place has helped, but I still have work every day, ministry commitments, and evening commitments out the wazoo (as is typically where commitments come from).
Google did not help with this one....

I'm an ambivert, I enjoy being around people but also enjoy that alone time. I spend about 15 hours a week alone, of course during that time I'm busy running errands, cleanning, cooking or just getting ready for work. Weekends are full, I'm usually with friends, family, activities with the singles ministry I'm involved with, church, bible class and possibly my son's soccer games if they play locally.

I'm not entirely sure. I usually have plans with people in the evenings. Plus, I'm an extrovert so I get my energy from people. Even if I do feel introverted, I would go to a local coffee shop just so there'll be people there so I can still be alone, but still be around people at the same time.

Typically, though.....since my life is getting back to normal, I am returning to my normal routine of being by myself after work besides working out with friends. So....minus sleeping at night time....I probably calculate 20 hours of alone time :)
I thought sleep was for pansies, though?

Depends what you constitute as alone. I spend most of my time working (alone, as I don't have coworkers), going to church (alone, as I'm the only family member that goes, but of course have friends there) and work out (alone) and during the fall, love watching football on Saturdays and Sundays. I don't add up the total amount, but I'd like to think it evens out. Jesus even needed to be alone. It's important for us to have alone time so we can study the Word.

I enjoy spending time with people and it's nice talking to others and being social (people at work call me a social butterfly), but I also enjoy my alone time...so I guess I'm in that weird middle area

Leonardo da Vinci took many naps thoughout the day and if you added it all up, he would have slept for about 2 hours.... and that is so for many great minds.... so, yep! Sleep is for pansies!! :)

You poor souls just stop trying to understand how the higher minds work or their sleeping habits... you'll never be able to!! :) Simples as that!!!

Hey... Jesus can do whatever he likes... it's all good with me!! :) if He tells me to walk upside down I would say amen!!! I would probably fall on face all the time, but.... :)

And by the way... I saw what you did there.... bringing the sleeping habits of THE man is just cheap...

Typically I have less than an hour by myself daily and it drives me crazy. Any chance I get to stay at home by myself I take full advantage of. So many people depend on me and I love being able to do what I can do for them. I have so much on my plate that I dont really have time for myself, but I am currently forcing myself to make time and to read a book and talk on the phone. I even have plans next month to meet up with some friends before we go back for our last year. But through everything it has reinforced that other people's needs are more important than my own and if given the opportunity, I wouldn't change a thing.

It's not cheap when we're supposed to apply Christ in ALL areas of our life.

Lucky you. I wish I had a couple of hours a day alone. I live in a 985 sq ft apartment with three other people, one of which I share a bedroom with because there are only 3 bedrooms. Then I go to work and get interrupted all day long because of customer calls. I long for time all alone.
