Let's see 7x16 (subtracting 8 hours of sleep per night)= 112
Probably an average of 2 hours of interaction with roomie per day (that's what happens when 2 introverts live together and the air con units are individual room based). so that brings it down to 98 hours alone
3 hour meeting (including driving through crazy city traffic) on Tuesday night, probably an average of 4 hours per week spent with project helpers, another 3 hours at the lake surrounded by people for work each week, and probably about 5 hours on Skype with people each week (does that count?). Oh and trips to market and visiting my shopkeeper friend down the road probably another 2-3 hours per week = 18 hours with people. (Edit: Oh and another 3 hours for church and assorted traffic. And a 5 hour fudge factor for anything else I've forgotten.)
So I probably spend about 70 hours alone per week, though since I have a roommate (for another week) it may not feel quite as alone as living somewhere by myself. It's possible I'm too much alone here, but the thought of hanging out with most people just makes me feel tired and annoyed (translation: if I like hanging out with you and seek out your company, you are pretty special). And that ladies and gentlemen is what it's like to be an introvert (and a bit of a math geek).
