How much time do I spend alone? I have no idea. I'm not impatient to get home to be alone, but I'm not impatient to go out and be with other people either. Whatever happens, I roll with it. If I am alone I have things I like to be doing. If I am in a group I go along with whatever we are doing. Either way, I'm usually pretty happy with it. But I never have sat down to count up the hours with a group or alone, & I don't really have any interest in doing so. Either way I'm happy.

Not counting sleep, probably 50 hours per week. Although this week, I've spent all, but maybe 2 hours by myself .

Outside of spending time with family, I'm not really the type that needs to be around people. I'm ok doing my own thing, but I also don't mind being around people. I just kind of go with whatever lol

I think it is less than 10-12 hours every week, if you do not count the hours spent sleeping or doing chores. My alone time is usually for an hour just after my dinner and before I hit the sack. On the weekends, it may extend to 3-4 hours when I am watching a movie or a football game (I mean, soccer, for you Americans!).

Let's see 7x16 (subtracting 8 hours of sleep per night)= 112

Probably an average of 2 hours of interaction with roomie per day (that's what happens when 2 introverts live together and the air con units are individual room based). so that brings it down to 98 hours alone

3 hour meeting (including driving through crazy city traffic) on Tuesday night, probably an average of 4 hours per week spent with project helpers, another 3 hours at the lake surrounded by people for work each week, and probably about 5 hours on Skype with people each week (does that count?). Oh and trips to market and visiting my shopkeeper friend down the road probably another 2-3 hours per week = 18 hours with people. (Edit: Oh and another 3 hours for church and assorted traffic. And a 5 hour fudge factor for anything else I've forgotten.)

So I probably spend about 70 hours alone per week, though since I have a roommate (for another week) it may not feel quite as alone as living somewhere by myself. It's possible I'm too much alone here, but the thought of hanging out with most people just makes me feel tired and annoyed (translation: if I like hanging out with you and seek out your company, you are pretty special). And that ladies and gentlemen is what it's like to be an introvert (and a bit of a math geek).

Being a tad dramatic, aren't we, sweetheart? ;) :p
But I love the dramatic... I live for the dramatic... I breathe drama... it pours out of me... I just can't keep it inside... :)

Sounds like heaven to me! I LOVE the rain. I might go out and sit in the rain that we are promised tonight. Just sit and get totally soaked.

I'm tempted to say, "save the drama for your llama". But I won't. :)

I spend most non-work hours alone. That adds up to about 50 hours a week. I'm an introvert, but I enjoy time with others as well.

I also spend most of my non-working time alone. And when I'm off on breaks it's even more time.

I'm an introvert too, so I like lots of alone time. Sometimes, however, it is a challenge. There's something about living so much of your life unobserved that's rather...poignant.
