Nah, I just read it as though you were comparing Pipp and SS to being old as your Grandma, but like I said, nothing wrong with being hella old - and as you said, these ladies are in fact very nice and wise women.
this thread got weird. seems like people decided to relate the original post back to themselves on an emotional level instead of realizing that from a logical perspective it has absolutely nothing to do with them.

I was actually hoping for some Godly counsel concerning this

Is maybe part of the difficulty that you're looking for a woman who is 20 something years old, but 40 or 50 something years wise? Just thinking that things like maturity, well developed theology, and the ability to hold solid spiritual discussions may be something that comes with age, and mistakes and regrets and baggage also come along with age.
You've made a few assumptions there, but those are still some good insights. That being said, I'm 32. I don't think it's expecting too much to find a spiritually mature woman in my age bracket.

Well, you got the kind of response for posting like someone who’s 12 years old with your “hella old” comment.

It's interesting so many men find that Christian women just aren't good enough for them and then place all these lame demands on them they have to meet in order for them to be acceptable. Lol!!!:ROFL::love::LOL::LOL::love:;);)

I now see what the real problem is. :poop::poop::poop:(n)(n)(n)

If I keep going, I might make you cry.

And I’m not very fond on making 12 year olds cry.

Okay, I’ll stop.

Why is it soooo difficult to find a Godly Christian female????

One who's: never been married, is celibate, and ACTUALLY puts Jesus first???? And isn't hella old???? And is biblically orthodox in her theology???? And can hold her ground in a spiritual discussion???

I get lonely and discouraged and melancholy.

And then I remember...."all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose".

Even this loneliness, discouragement and melancholy. Thank you Lord!

I’m single, never married, no children, Christian, don’t drink or
smoke. Have served on the worship team for several years.
Have been on CC 7 years so I can hold my own.
I’m also on the wrong side of the pond and 50 so out of your
age bracket. Lol

But there’s more to it than that. People don’t marry a list of characteristics,
they marry a person. Personalities and interests need some compatibility.
Even social upbringing, culture and colour are additional considerations.

So maybe you need to ask yourself what do you have to offer women
and why would you be good for them. Instead of what have they to offer me.

If you were a single Christian lady, would you want to marry you?

Have you considered that the Lord would like you to keep an open mind and learn to compromise – maybe his lesson for you is to learn to manage your expectations…
Have you ever considered that your purpose might be that the lord is preparing you to serve him and that he intends for you to help a person struggling with their spirituality (and maybe their life) - to help them find their way along their journey with HIM?
OR vise versa...
In order for any marriage to work - you are eventually going to have to learn to allow your woman to 'influence' you - anyway... Learning to compromise is a big part of that marital lesson...

After all, there is no such thing as a perfect marriage - just two imperfect people who refuse to give up upon each other...

Those are some of the wisest words I've heard in awhile.
Thank you for that insight.
