Well, in extreme cases there foot pump operated showers that don't just keep spraying water.
If you had to, you can get a squirt of water to get wet, do all of your soaping up and scrubbing and what not, and then have another spray or two of water to rinse the soap off.

I can see it now.... a guy comes in after a night out with his buddies and you accuse him of cheating. He asks why and you sniff his jacket and say "because you were at a bonfire without me."
So we've got women who like men who do err, man stuff, with things.
