Yeah, that doesn't work. That company got sued by a guy who used it for seven years and never got a single woman running after him. Company officials refused to comment, probably because they were laughing too much to be able to speak.

Yeah, it's an urban legend. But someone really oughta sue them.

When it comes to cologne or aftershave less is actually more. I don't like the smell of Axe cologne because of so many guys I went to school with didn't know how much was enough and the smell actually makes me sick to my stomach.

Some teenage guy use it as an alternative to showering.

Me, I enjoyed showering. It's an effective method of avoiding acne and ingrown hairs, and it give you 2-5 minutes all to yourself to think.

I have heard of people using febreze instead of showering. I don't understand why some teenagers or even adults refuse to shower, I mean I understand if water is scarce or something to that extreme. The longest I went without a shower is five days because we didn't have electricity and our water pump runs on the electricity so I made sure to take sponge baths. Yes, I agree one of the only places where you can be by yourself to think and talk to God although lately I have been using my car as one of them on my way to school in the morning.

I dunno... if I go three days without showering my hair gets oily. Using febreze as a cover-up to hide the fact you didn't shower is... icky.

Ugh! I hated the male change rooms for that (and other) reason(s). Most of the guys packed it on like it was going out of style. Much of the time it was difficult to breathe because they put so much on. Awful crap!

I remember back in school, I had so many asthma attacks because of guys with the axe spray....They were spraying it constantly.

It is awful when the changing rooms are attached to the restrooms and you can't even go in there without an asthma attack. I am surprised people didn't pass out

Yeah, I feel disgusting if I go a day and a half without showering with my hair especially. I enjoy the feeling after a hot shower because I feel refreshed and ready to face the day. I actually heard the febreze thing from a nurse at the doctor's office, but it actually makes more obvious that a person didn't shower.

The girl's locker room wasn't much better. Perfume wreaked havoc and I hurried and got changed and went to class so I wouldn't smell it.

I have heard several people in the USA do not like to get a daily shower...

That´s is odd in Latin America.

If you heard it from a nurse, then it must be a good idea.

I'm stocking up on Febreze and cutting back on my water bill.


Do you have ANY idea how much water you could save by just showering once a week?
Once every 2 weeks would be even better.

I know that we would save lots of water, but I enjoy being clean and no Febreze would do that for me. I don't like going without a shower.

If you ever get sprayed, dawn dish soap feels good on the eyes.....at least I am told this by a police officer....it blows back at them quite often....

Speaking of perfume, when I was little and at the age where they wander around getting into stuff, I drank a bottle of perfume. I don't understand how I could swallow something like that.
