I have MANY HIDDEN secrets (of which some members on the forum have threatened to expose!) and this is one of the most closely-guarded all!

Yes, I'm afraid ALL the rumors are TRUE.

If you meet me in person, I will pester you with a stuffed critter -- until you start giving me baked goods.
That's not true. The cookies were on the counter. The GREEN irritant kept bugging me.

Once upon a time a group of people sold me an idea of a peaceful meetup week.

What I got was being pestered and harried by a blue-green stuffed owl.

I want my money back!

You know...

Winston (the said blue-green stuffed owl) said he was promised a relaxing vacation among a group of friendly, open-minded people who wouldn't mind that he was a stuffed owl.

What he got was week of battling with a belligerent cat who also might have hints of avoidance attachment issues... (at least, when it comes to stuffed owls.):cool::geek:

Guess what?!

WINSTON WANTS A REFUND!!!

Ok, ok...

In Lynx's defense -- if you ever meet him in person -- he WILL keep you in good supply of cookies.

And chocolate pudding.

And French toast, made from stolen low-carb bread.

And... (Lynx REALLY LIKES keeping people fed.) :)

Tell the egregious emerald that if you don't START nothing, there won't BE nothing. I didn't seek him out for anything. HE came to ME. Over and over and over and over and...

You can't get a refund on clearance items, and those recipes on how to cook tiggers and hephalumps and rotisseried roo was an Odd Lots special. Haaa!

I find most of my cosmetics this way so that, when I find the perfect foundation that matches my skin tone to a t... I can't ever find it available again anywhere. Like Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil RG60 "Jubilant."
But, after an extensive search, and many failed attempts at finding it having misremembered it to be from Mariah Carey's collection because I wasn't sure if I recalled a butterfly or an "M" about it, I was able to obtain a vial of One Direction's "Our Moment" perfume spray. I don't use it though, but just keep it in case I can never find it again. I did this with Avon's (or was its affiliate Mark...) Lemonsugar body mist. I just have it on my vanity for my own sniffer's enjoyment. At any rate, I came across an article claiming that Asians are less inclined to have B.O., so I've reached the conclusion that, if I don't have a problem with B.O. in the first place, why would I risk messing that all up mismatching a particular scents' chemistry with my own natural chemistry.

However, I recently got my hair did after the style of a Karen! (and if I put on any scent, I place it on my hair)
I think I could talk to you for hours about beauty products.

Just as long as we won't be fixing any Winnie-the-Pooh characters for lunch!

I love skimming through the "Clearance" baskets of beauty items in my local stores. If I find anything of particular interest, I generally scoop up as many as I can because as you said -- you know you'll never find them again.

"Celebrity" perfumes are quite an adventure, eh? I used to go out the day after Christmas and hunt down celebrity fragrance boxed sets, which are usually marked down 50% off. Walmart doesn't have much of a selection anymore (at least here,) but there are times I've found bonanzas at CVS and Walgreens (though some of them didn't have them at half price, and I had to pass.)

Admittedly, most were "blind buys" (buying without testing) unless I could find a tester for them (sometimes at Target,) but it seems like most of them are so generic that I could make them work. Sometimes I'd combine them together, or pass them along to friends.

And, I'm going to take up your tip to just keep a few as my own supply to occasionally whiff for myself! :)

Persistence is an admirable trait. :p

Besides, you like to churn out so many goodies that he was just seeing if the vending machine had anything new to offer.

OHO, so THAT'S the problem, is it? We can fix that in a New York minute.

The kitchen is now closed. :p

BUT, you used to always say the owl was just green, and now you're calling him blue-green, so at least we're making some progress here.

What's this, Monsieur Cat???

First you call him "blue-green", then you go back to calling him "green" and "emerald."

Are you backpedaling?! Everyone knows backpedaling isn't allowed in this forum!!!

Winston Wants a Reversal! :p
