There is nothing right about this thread. Humble Chridtian men ask how they can bless their wives or potential wives.

Why don't you explain how you would provide for her physical and spiritual needs? Humility goes a long way.

Thanks,

Aero

I guess there's a reason I was called "Gullible's Travels" in early high school, I'm sometimes too trusting of people. I thought his Wives Submit to Husbands thread was ill-informed but legit. The name calling here though just proves he was a troll.

I'm glad he's gone. But I'm a little sad that I couldn't see the process of him being banned. I woulda popped popcorn! Not with a lot of butter though... just an itsy bit and salt. Yep.

What about caramel popcorn? It's good (not that I've had it very often). Honey popcorn is also very good. Butter popcorn is fun too but probably a heart attack waiting to happen. I normally pop my corn in a saucepan and then add a little salt. It's not very exciting but it's healthier and still tastes good.

I'm not a fan of carmel, but I like Kettle Corn. I've never had honey popcorn. Do y'all have kettle corn?

You're right. I don't want to hear what you have to say :)
Stephen, MissCris has a lot of wisdom here. I can support what she says about wanting another human to "make you happy".
Humans are despite full creatures and will never suffice to make you as happy as The Lord can. EVEN IF God decided to give you (or me) a wife, it would still be Him who has made me happy by blessing my life wit such a woman.

I myself can testify that every time I've engaged in a quest to look for someone to satisfy my hearts desire of being loved, I've been gravely disappointed. I've been where you are, it's not fun to be discouraged at how no matter how hard you try nobody can make you happy is it? The only solution to this is to put your faith in The Lord, that He and only He has the ability to love you like you need to be loved[:

Soli Deo Gloria!

Carmel? I know you guys in America pronounce 'caramel' as 'carmel' but do you really spell it that way? Honey popcorn is delicious. I've never had kettle corn. I don't know that it's even available in Australia (we don't have a lot of the 'foods' you have there). :)

That's why I was posting not to feed him. I could not stand to see another thread go the same direction. It was completely obvious to me- even look at his avatar. He gets to live with himself, and the hate he spreads. Good-reddens!

Wasn't his avatar a lion roaring? How is that obvious? Aslan, someone who loves wild felines or the lion who comes to seek, steal and destroy? I'm guessing you instantly saw the latter. Well done. :)

As for everyone who incited this man to anger, why not actually try sharing some insight with those who may be ignorant instead of ridiculing them? I found a lot of people's replies to be offensive in nature, though I was not the one concerned about this subject in the first place, I still understand his feeling and respect it because I've been there as well. It's not a healthy position to be in, so rather than replying with disdain for his position, lend truthful insight that will help him follow The Lord. From what I witnessed here, the responses of some to cause misdirection and discouragement to someone in his shoes,.. I will not make fun of someone because their view is false, nor will I ridicule them. With love, we share the Truth.

You haven't been around. We've put up with him as a troll for a few days now. Many of us tried to correct him, and it didn't work. He was here to stir up trouble. If you don't believe me, go read his posts.

Oh! And you can't make ANYONE angry. You can't make anyone do or feel anything. He chose his path and emotions.

Ever consider that your method of correction was in error? Coming from someone who's been in Stephens shoes many times, I understand how difficult it is to explain yourself to some people, others (like me) instantly understand. I've been in his EXACT position in this thread, and I can lend support to his angered responses. No ones comments to him were genuine, sincere, kind or considerate. I don't care what he may have said or done in the past, if someone is sincere in their question they deserve a sincere response. And as Christians it is our duty to respond in loving kindness regardless of what wrong we may feel, intentional or unintentional. Only love and truth is able to correct someone. How would you feel if you asked a simple question like he did and got ridiculed for it rather than receiving the understanding you hoped for?
